BIG BOY OPINION AHEAD!!!

Ive been here for a while, so I think I know what I think truly depicts a wannabee (correct me if I’m wrong.

Theres a difference between someone who strives to be a staff, and a wannabee. Those who strive don’t really imitate the way other staff members respond (like how some put emojis at the end of their message, etc.), they have their own flow, which in my opinion, is what makes a person stand out. These people don’t really “shove themselves out there”, meaning that they don’t go around saying “Hey, do you need help with <insert simple task>?”, “Hey, if you need any help, you can contact me anytime because I never sleep and am online 25/7!”, etc.

Wannabees (this is not directed towards anyone, so please don’t start any controversies) on the other hand tend to mimic the way staffs respond, making semi useless threads about already stated information (usually in attempt to get a pin), spamming question threads with useless information, and or act like their above all (superior to others due to the thought that they’re being a benefactor).

Although, many people tend to mix the two (I used to), the real difference is a level of maturity, and how well you can accept criticism. Some people can’t accept that they’re wrong, which doesn’t make them look good. Additionally, you don’t want to look and act like a child when answering (or talking in general), because when you act like a child, it shows others that you aren’t ready for the privileges of being a staff members.

If theres anything that I’ve learned throughout my time trying to be a staff member, its that you should be yourself. Never try and look like you’re staff material, because they will know, they can tell what kind of personality you have, how you act when there is no one around, and if you cause arguments or prevent them. Additionally, don’t try and become a staff just to show off to your friends, make yourself look more superior to others, and or try to improve popularity/look cooler, because no one likes a person who shows off a rank saying that they’re better than someone because they can do something that they can’t.

Hope this explains everything.
