Chapter 27- The Battle Of Salina’s Prison

“Oh no.” Ang spins around, trying to find the shadow monster lurking on them.
“The hell you’re looking for?” Miner holding a knife on her left hand, shaking as she looks around.
“The shaw-” Flash! Went the lights in the darkness.
The only lights were the dark red lights at the end of the hallway which said exit.
“C’mon, that’s creepy, you gotta admit.” Ang no longer shaking but Miner wasn’t so convinced yet.
“Eh, watch your back, he could be anywhere.” Miner and Ang kept on looking but it was hard for them since the shadow monster blends in perfectly with the darkness around them.

“I blame you for taking me out here,” Ang stated, looking at Miner.
“Are you actually serious right now?” Miner puts her below down that had the knife in her hands.
“At a time like THIS? You’re blaming ME for this? God, you’re actually the worst.” Miner looks away from Ang, not looking back.
“Well, I mean,” Ang sighed, rethinking her discussions.
“H-hey Ang, I f-feel sleepy-y-y.” Ang looked back and in sudden fear, Miner was laying on the ground, fast asleep.
Ang quickly got on her knees, trying to wake up Miner by shaking her.
“Miner, Miner! Wake up!” But that’s when And notice something on her neck.
Ang took a look at it and appeared to be an arrow with a red leaf on it.
“Oh shoot.” And before Ang notice what was going on, a guard shot her right in the neck, making her fall asleep before saying anything else.
. . .
“This is great, just great,” Dally spoke, being at gunpoint at the time.
“I said silence!” The guard from the back poked me with his wooden stick, hurting me a lot.
“We’re gonna die now.” Lloyd’s eyes widen up, tears running down his neck.
“I’m so sorry Lloyd, I’m sorry,” Dally said in a low voice, having her head down with shame surrounding her.
“I SAID QUIET YOU IDIOTS.” This time, the guard in front of us threatened us that he would shoot us in the skull if we didn’t shut up.
“This is truly the end of the road for us, huh?” Lloyd spoke to himself, looking down at his feet as millions of images of his childhood flashed through his mind in under a second.

Dally’s heart raced faster than Trump winning the election. Lloyd's heart was frozen, thinking about everything he did in his life and the things he didn’t get to do while still being free.
It was useless using their powers right now, regarding that they were in hot water at this point, there was no reason to right back.
Guards from behind and in front, holding their guns on their opposite hands, were chit-chatting about something Dally couldn’t catch well but she did hear something that caught her attention.
Dally wasn’t sure if she heard correctly but she thinks one of the guards told another that they were arguing on how they were going to kill us. This made her freeze but decided to not tell Lloyd since he was already shivering enough.

It was strange for Dally, she had never ever seen Lloyd shivering so much in his life before. Even during the wintertime, Lloyd was showering 2 times more than we would too.
Suddenly, we stopped. We were in front of a big door with not one but two input cards to open the door.
The guard in front of them inserted the cards hanging from their chest.
“Get in there,” The guards pushed us into the room that was pitched black but could feel that everything was made out of glass.
Once closing the doors, things got weird, like, the room turned red all of a sudden.
. . .
“Use your power fool,” Bell shouted in a low voice towards Katy.
“I CAN’T” Katy panicked.
“They’re not working.”
“STAY where you are prisoners.” Flashlights were getting closer towards them.
“Well, I guess we might admit defeat at this point.” Katy and Bell sighed, having guards flashing their lights around them in a circle as guns were being pointed at them.

“Keep walking.” The short guard commanded us to do from the back.
Ang and Miner had their hands up, looking down as they admit that they were defeated, even with superpowers.
“W-we-we failed?” Bell questioned herself, having her voice sounding like she’s about to have a breakout.
Katy had nothing to say. This was the very first time that she was admitting defeat agents a team that she trained to take down for 10 years straight.
“Get in,” The tall guard pushed us into a room that was quite dark. Once in, Bell rushed towards the iron door but it shut close real quick.
The room suddenly turned red, like, dark red around them.
. . .
“Best idea yet?” Ham raised his hands up, being surrounded by 8 other guards.
“Welp.” Amanda stared at the ground, feeling like her plan failed when she thought she had everything under control.
“It was fun while it lasted, huh?” Amanda wiped towards Ham, Ham not saying a word.
Ham and Amanda decided to stick along and leave their conversation for another time. They felt as if the world was agents them and they couldn’t do anything about it.

“Keep moving.” One of the guards from behind us spoke in an utter voice.
Ham was right on the edge in telling him to grow up but already expected the consequences from it.
It felt like they were walking a mile and according to Ham’s Fitbit, they were walking not a mile but two miles.
“In you go.” Two guards pushed us in a dark room, closing the door right away as they pushed us in.
Once the doors were shut, it was nothing but a cold room with dark red areas coming from the sides.

-\

Our heroes failed to save one person in prison. Sure, it was one of the tightest prisons in all of the state but they risked their lives just to save someone that was convicted in murdering someone back at school.
Ang and Miner, even with their superpowers failed to save their leaves once they got caught in the box area. Another thing was they had a shadow monster on them. Ham and Amanda, even with their smartest math knowledge, failed to get across the areas of the place. Teleportation, GPS powers, but they ended up being the losers at the end.

Bell and Katy were two powerhouses, being overpriced in what was going on. But yet, they failed to see how everything was going to turn out. It was a shame how they had such powers but yet, didn’t know how to control it.
Lastly, Dally and Lloyd, such an incredible team but with their brains together, they weren't able to figure out what to do which is where their plan failed.

So, the question now is, what happens? With all 4 groups of heroes stuck in a cold room, all covered in red?

-\

“Well, well, well, what do we have here?” A voice came from the room, making everyone jump from their areas.
“Who goes there?” A voice sounding like Bell’s coming from the vents.
The voice didn’t respond back, but only the footsteps getting closer and louder.
“Hey! Let’s us out!” This time, Katy’s voice came out louder.
Nothing came back from the voice.

“Yo, guys, what do we do in this situation?” Ham responded in the vents.
“Nothing.” Strel sounding all depressed.
“STREL” Everyone’s voice filled with happiness.
“YOU’RE OKAY!” Ang replied, trying to find her block.
“I’m okay, but we're not,” Strel responded, not sounding happy nor sad.
“W-what do you mean by that?” Amanda spoke in an unjustified voice.
“Well, wouldn’t you want to find out for yourself?” The voice from the distance started to speak once more.
At that point, everyone stood up from where they were.

“Wait a minute, Harold?” An unknown voice came from the vents.
“No fking way was that Bear.”
All of a sudden, the lights went on, having a surprise of everyone in a circle, each one of them stuck in a box filled with iron around them; Harold, standing right in the middle, having everyone’s faces in around area.
“I should’ve killed you when I had the chance.” Bear strangled himself to get out of the chains.”
“Hmm, yea, that was your mistake.” Harold laughed, looking at everyone.

“What the hell do you want from us, Harold?” Strel started to talk tough on him.
“Can’t you see guys? They’re right beside you.” Everyone looks at each other but still don’t understand what he means by that.
“Well, in a nutshell, you guys all took your own line, traveled all the way here and yet, I- I have you guys all here!” Harold's eyes started to pop out, making a clown smiley face.

“And, what exactly are you going to do with us?” They all spoke at once.
The room suddenly started to get hot, the holes above them started to open up.

“Well, we’re just gonna find out.” The lights went off.

Unknown.

Note:

This story dealt with the following: Flashbacks, thinkable memories, bit glory, Mysterious, clues, blood, cuts, etc.

Anyways, hey, it’s me, Eric. I hope you enjoyed this story. I tried putting my heart into it even though some chapters were short. I usually make the first and last chapters very long for the information given during the plots and twists. Why? Well, in the first chapter, I would like to introduce the basics of the story. Last chapter, the finish off, and of course, the cliffhanger.

But yea, “After School + You” - August 27, 2020.

Btw, Can someone uncensored the word (C r a p) that would be appreciated, thanks.
Not even a curse word and yet, here we are.
