Chapter 2- King Of The Dice

"Pass the lays would you? Also, it's your turn to roll the dice, my fellow friend." Dark smiles evilly as he passes the cursed dice to Windex.
"So, who's the one that's going to die today?" Windex tells everyone, looking straight at Jxzzy cause he knows that she's going to be the one to die.

"I don't understand why you always target me like..." she takes a long pause, still looking at Windex in the eyes.
"Whatever, it's just a dice game anyways." Jxzzy crosses her arms.

The four of them continued to play their monopoly death game when suddenly, a sound bang hits the ground from upstairs. They all paused in fear.
"What was that?" Khoa states.
"Maybe it was your cat?" Dist adds.
They all look at each other like they were hiding something.
"Um, my cat is right there." Dark points to the couch next to them. Dark's cat was a white and black colored cat with black on his stomach and white on the body
"Then, what could've caused that noise upstairs? Unless it was the wind from the storm which I doubt since the doors are closed, I think."

They left the dining room and split apart, each taking a room downstairs and not the upstairs just to make sure if what made the sound upstairs wasn't because of something downstairs.
"Anything?" Dark yells from the kitchen.
"Nothing," All three of them said at once.

They continued to search for the sound that could have caused the noise from upstairs.

20 minutes later...

"Anything?"
They all shook their heads in disappointment.
"Whatever caused the noise from upstairs must've been upstairs," Dist adds.
"But, if I remember correctly, I have never brought anything that is glass related besides the glass door for the balcony that was installed by the builders of this house which mind you, is really hard to break. So, I don't think this thunderstorm could've broken that baby. easily"
"Then, it must've been something else. Question is, what?" Khoa questions the room.

Windex was fed up with all this childish game and decided to head for the kitchen for some food. "Y'all acting like 8 years old and yes, that includes me as well. So, if you guys want to know what caused that noise upstairs then stop acting like idiots and head upstairs. I'll be in the kitchen." Windex heads off like he just gave the president the most important speech in history.

"Damn, Windex goes hard on people when he's mad, I'll give him that." Jxzzy remarks.
"Indeed he does," Dark adds onto her sentence.

"Ok, so, let's stop acting like this and head upstairs, I guess?" Koah says to the room while eating a bag of lays.
"Alright then, let's do this."

. . .

"Soooooo, who's going up there first?" Windex asks.
"We ALL go, got that?" Jxzzy answers, giving everyone a push up the stairs.
At that exact moment, as they all stepped one foot to the stairs, the lights flashed out.
"Well, do you guys still want to go up there?" Dark happily says in spirit.

Jxzzy wasn't taking any chances just because a thunderstorm turns off their lighting supplies. She takes out her phone from her pockets, turns on the camera and yells, "Y'all have phones right?"
Nobody says a word. "Tsk, cowards. C'mon. Let's go."

. . .

They finally reached the second floor of the house even though it's been like 30 minutes after whether should they go up or not.

"And we argued about this for a full 30 minutes." Dist looks at everyone. Nobody paid attention to her since they were already fed up with the noise on the second floor.
"Alright, since there're four rooms here and there're four of us, we each get a room and explore what could've caused that noise. Anyone that doesn't agree in doing my directions can gladly get out of my house." Dark explains to the crowd.
Everyone quickly shooked their heads.
"That's what I thought. Now, move it, people!"

Windex-

Ya'know, I like Dark as a friend and everything but sometimes, I feel like he takes things too seriously. Yes, I get it, it is his house but heck, I only came here to play Game Of Thrones- Monopoly and now, we have to find out some stupid noise in his house.

Me talking to myself makes me feel like a weirdo when I do it in front of my friends but to be fair, I just like to talk to myself so I don't feel self-conscious every time I'm alone.

I spent a few minutes searching the bedroom where there was a queens size bed along with green walls and a simple Sanyo tv. Other than that, nothing.
"Nothing here!" I shouted to the guys.

Dark-

It's pretty weird that you, living in your own house, don't recognize any of the noises that came from your own house, even though I have been living here for the past 14 years. I headed for the bathroom which was pretty small. So, if the noise came from here, I would easily recognize what broke or what caused the noise.
I searched for the item or thing that could've caused the noise. I looked left and right, under and over. Nada. I felt like I was missing a piece here but I guess not? Maybe it's because I'm turning old and I start to lose some of my sense days by days.

"Nothing here," I shouted from the bathroom.

Jxzzy-

I got picked the left room to the left while Khoa got the last room but the right one. It appeared that I got the storage place which could be the place where that noise could've came from. There were boxes of different sizes and different colors. I hate to open new boxes but heck, Dark didn't give us direction what to do and what not to do

I ripped almost through every single box and what do I find? Nothing. "Nothing here peeps," I yell from the small room I was in, being surrounded by boxes.

Khoa-

I got picked last room where the balcony was, or, I thought it was. The room was leaking with water inside cause somehow, the balcony glass door had a gigantic hole in it. Many ideas came into my mind in a millisecond. First of, what was strong enough to break this door? Second, if it was a person, they would have to climb up here since no one is able to throw a rock from here to the floor.

Just when I thought things couldn't get weirder, well, that's where I was wrong. The room was suddenly getting hotter and that's where I found a medium size meteorite laying near his closet.

Before I went closer towards it, another one was falling from the sky, but this time, heading right towards my other friend's house.

Yes, I'm aware that I put so many details on a simple thing (the noise upstairs). I tend to do that which makes the story boring, So, I will try my best to not do that again for the next 3 chapters coming up, sorry.

Btw, a small thanks to @Cakeyy for the tip she gave me to separate the character's voice for each line, I think? Idk, bye nerds.
