So, I have noticed many players "spamming" player reports and ban appeals and I have some helpful hints for you.

1. If you did not make the thread there is zero reason to make any comment for any reason- ever. (If you disagree with the outcome make a conversation with a staff member)

2. You do not (again EVER) need to tag staff members. The only exception to this is if you made the report and see that a staff member is on forums and you are looking to get the player banned immediately. (I have broken this rule myself- live and learn)

3. If someone is starting drama be the better person and remove yourself from the conversation. It is never good (this goes for the players that come to the aid of their friends) to spam the player reports or ban appeals into a six page diatribe about why the reporter is a bad person and why your wonderful friend shouldn't be banned for two days for teaming. Let the staff members do there job without having to wade through pages of gobbledygook. (Gobbledygook= unneccesary comments)

4. Everyone listen up because this one is important: If you have nothing nice to say do not say anything at all. I try to ask myself: Does it make you feel better to say it? Will it make the other person feel good if I say it? Can I present my opinion in a nicer way? Am I going to regret my comment?
(I have broken this rule too)

5. If you are going to read player reports and ban appeals pretend that you are "NOT ALLOWED" to post anything unless it's your report.
Exception: If you have proof that 100% exonerates someone MAYBE it's acceptable but to me that is something you can show the staff member in a private conversation.

I know I'm going to get some hate for this but if it helps to get even one or two people to stop spamming it's worth it to me.

Actually, there’s never an actual reason to tag a staff member, especially if they’re online - whenever we’re online, we’re checking reports and looking for people that need us, if we don’t reply to reports, questions, etc, then we could be busy, orrr.. simply not want to (by that.. I mean we could be trying to ‘take a break’ so, we don’t reply.) or we might be afk on the forums. :x3:

We all get notified whenever something new pops up, even if one of us didn’t notice something new, it’ll eventually get taken care of. ╮(╯▽╰)╭

@_PineappleDeath_

is it true someone cant ask questions on a player report??

a former staff member told me :vv
Nah, you can ask a question - as long as it’s something regarding the rule or like what game / map (etc) or texture pack they’re using, that sorta stuff is fine, as long as there’s no spam to the point you’re having a whole conversation on a report. :p

I still break this rule to this day :smug:
