Greetings, it is I KnightWalker49

If you like mini-games like Skywars, Hunger Games, etc. This is a guide on how to win; or have a bigger chance of winning.

Short disclaimer: This is based on my own experiences in numerous PVP mini-games, this may not translate well with others as everyone is different.

Have you ever had that moment where you question whether you will ever win a single round against other players? Well, here are a few things you can do to make your PVP matches a bit less stressful:

1. Don't play with a negative mindset.
- When you're mind is filled with anger, sorrow, or any other negative emotion and thought, you tend to lose your grip on accurate judgement. You must try to clear your mind of all those feelings. You lost 20 times in a row? It does not matter as it is part of learning, let your negative emotions go before going in a match.

2. Listen to music.
- Music is a powerful tool, use it. Having trouble relaxing? Listen to some smooth tunes on Spotify or Youtube. Keep in mind that the music you're listening to must not be over-the-top or fast as it will likely increase your heart rate, which will make you stressed; unless however, you find that kind of stuff relaxing somehow then be my guest.

3. Organise your hotbar and inventory.
- Whilst the first few seconds of the match ticks, you can use that time to organise your inventory. Organising your inventory is useful in the long run because it will make things easier to access even when you're in the middle of a duel. If you don't organise your inventory, you won't be able to find stuff you want efficiently.

4. Don't be scared, attack.
- Is there a really good player just owning the map right now? Don't be afraid of them, attack them. I am not saying that you should just stay at a distance, as they will always find a way to get you whether you like it or not. What I recommend is just clear your mind, gear up, and face them head on. Keep in mind that the clock doesn't stop for you, the longer you hide the more powerful they get as you provide them with the chance to regenerate their health, collect resources, and even plan a route to where you are.

5. Use what you have wisely.
- Do you have 10 steak and you still have 8 hearts of health? Don't waste it on healing, wait until you have 1-4 hearts left; this is where organising your inventory comes into play, if you have collected a lot of food and you've been organising your inventory you can quickly swap things in and out of your hotbar with ease and you can see where things are located. Do you have limited blocks but you need to cross and someone's chasing you? Well you shouldn't have wasted it by placing blocks down while sprinting. For n00bs, it seems to work perfectly but for skilled players (which is probably the person you're running away from) it's nothing. You need to know when and where to use things as you may need them in the most dire of situations.

6. Communicate with your teammates.
- If you're playing with teammates, talk to them. Know where they are, what they're doing, who's near them, etc. You can basically use them as additional eyes for you, and make sure to help them; unless they are literally not helping the team and just being a Dufflebag, then let them perish, even as simple as helping them bridge from where you are is already enough.

7. Don't play cheaters.
- This is a simple yet often forgotten concept. If you see a cheater, do the right thing and report them. After reporting them, then you leave the game. Even if you're on the same team as the cheater, always report cheaters no matter what. Because at the end of the day, they will take the glory and not you.

8. Play and Learn.
- Face it, if you don't keep playing you won't get any better. Just keep playing and eventually you will learn the ropes of things. Whilst playing, it will help if you took notes on how people win against you and try to not let it happen again, learn from others on what they do, ask players how they manage to win a few times in a row and there's a chance they will tell you a thing or two. Once you have enough knowledge on how the pros do it, it's time to practice. Practice until you can no longer practice, and if you have spare time you practice. Keep on playing and one day you will be one of the best there is.

If you are a fairly experienced fighter, what are things that I didn't cover? Let me know in the reply section with a fairly detailed description similar to what I've done. I hope this helps you win matches.

If you are an inexperienced fighter, share what you think you can improve on below. Ask others for advice as well, we can all learn a thing or two from each other.

I hope this helps you win matches. If you have any suggestions on what I should write about next, also leave that below!

I hope you enjoyed reading this!
