It was the first day at a new boarding school for the students. At this point in time, the 24 of them were sitting on a yellow bus, on their way to the middle of nowhere. Most of the students were excited about their new school life, but for some, not so much.
"Ahh, no more annoying siblings and no more nagging parents." Vix sighed and leaned back on her seat.
"Won't you miss them though?" asked Dreaming.
"Nah." she shrugged and turned to talk to someone else.
Oh, Vix may be screaming for her parents soon. In fact, they may all be screaming, and may not live to see their loved ones ever again.
They arrived at the boarding school in the late afternoon. It was situated beside a cliff, and it had a nice view of the beach below. Once the students had checked their dorms and met their teachers, they were assigned an orientation task to make them more familiar with each other and the school. They split up into pairs and started to explore the school.
One pair was lacking the enthusiasm of the rest of their peers, so to make their day more interesting, they started plotting some murders. The pair walked outside to find two of their peers walking by the edge of the cliff. A malicious thought made the two of them smile slyly and walk towards their peers, who were oblivious of their presence. Once they've got near enough, the murderers gave them a shove, and the unfortunate students fell to their deaths. The murderers didn't look back at them and casually strolled away without any witnesses.
At dinner, the teachers were taking the roll call. Everyone was present; everyone, except for three students.
"Ben, Pandeee, and Dany! Where are you three?" a teacher called over the chatting.
Suddenly, the cafeteria doors slammed open and in ran Pandeee, flushed red and sweating.
"Ben and Dany! They're dead!" she cried.
Everyone stormed outside, following Pandeee, who led them to the cliff.
"There!" she called out and pointed to two bodies that were sprawled on the beach.
One of the students broke from the crowd and sprinted down to the beach without being noticed by the teachers. When the student reached the bodies, she noticed that one of them was moving. Ben was breathing, but the student knew that if he didn't make it back to the nurse's office in time, he'll be dead, just like Dany. Ben was slung onto the student's shoulder, and he was rushed back to the nurse's office. He'll live another day.
There was wailing from the students as they mourned for Dany, and the teachers ushered them back inside, a grim look on their faces. They all thought that Ben and Dany sat on the very edge of the cliff and accidentally fell. Two students exchanged looks. Part of their plan had worked. The two students agreed that the plan was successful, and they would continue their murder spree tomorrow.
