Brand New Minigame Request. (w/ Map Download)

So. Here it is! The map Ive requested a pluggin for!

Since Im posting the map, I might aswell explain the map
and how I would like it to be played aswell.

Setup Phase
Gametype: Team, Pointbased.
Average game time: 10 - 15 Minutes

Players max: 10
Players per team: 5
Classes: Yes
# of Classes: 3

Rules and Info
The goal of the game is simple. Each team is comprised of five players.
Each with a class picked pre-game. These classes are:

  • Tank: Full Iron armor. Stone Sword. Slowness l.
  • The tank is slow but useful for taking heavy damage and pushing past defenses. Not used for defense, just offense.

  • Runner: Leather Chestplate. Snowballs. Swiftness lll.
  • The runner's job is to knockback and stall other players while running at high speeds. Not used for offense, just defense.

  • Archer: Full Chain Armor. Bow w/ Infinity l. Jump Boost ll.
  • There are plenty of places high up for an Archer to reach. The Archer's role is to pick enemies off from afar, search the area, and cause delays in most plans. Can be used for Offense and Defense.
The objective of the game is to score enough points for your team to win.
You score by standing on the map's "Point Pad" for three seconds. The point pad will drop an item in your hotbar. Take the item back to your teams spawn to score!

The catch is... Only one person can score points at a time!

When the round starts, one person from each team is given the task of getting a point and returning to their team's spawn with it. This player is called the Captian of the team and is the only player capable of capturing and delivering a point. If the Captian dies, the Captian scores, or the Captian takes too long to score, the role is passed to another team member and both are returned to Spawn. Your goal is to protect the Captian at all costs while Scoring points when the role of Captian is passed to you!

Pluggin Request and Implecation
If a pluggin is made for this map, here is a few things I suggest to make sure
this gamemode can be played on other servers and/or maps!

Red players Spawn and Score on 2x2 Red Wool blocks.

Blue players Spawn amd Score on 2x2 Blue Wool blocks.

Point pads are designated by 2x2 Lime Wool blocks.

These settings can be used to help future map makers of this game type.

Closing Statement
And thats it for the Map, Gamemode, and its rules.
I hope this gets added into the server or at the very least, acknowledged.
If this map and game combo isnt added, feel free to use this idea and map in your
own server. I just ask of this one thing...

If we add your map and follow your rules ill would take some month (~7-8)

Why?
Because we have alot of games in the waiting list


How Can I Solve That
Create the plugin b your self so we can test it out and fix bugs

Fair enough. I know you guys have alot on your plate and you're doing surprisingly well with keeping up with it all.

Well... Since my knowledge of coding can only extend to website creating and small games, I guess Ill have to sit this one out and be patient. See what time has in store for me since I cant make a Pluggin on my own.

We may add your map (didnt eve ask @vertx yet)and your game , but please be patient :) [by the way , for the credit you can put a sign in it (not abuse or they will just get removed)

I would use Runner kit all the way(if this game gets added)but i would call runner kit Scout

Coded in Java? I see. Looking back at my post, I would probably want to make a few changes to the rules and how classes are balanced. Like removing some archer armor and giving the runner a wood sword. But I don't think Ill be able to actually make this gamemode myself. Not in short notice or without it looking like spaghetti code at least.

BrokenLens forums are all coded in HTML. The core code that BrokenLens Forums use is Xenforo forum builder.
