Why do other players get the insta eat thing?

Its gotta do with ur version, a while back, i think 1.2 or so there was a bug where u couldnt eat anything, besides gapples
If u update to 1.2 i think you will be able to insta eat

TY i now upgraded my mc to 1.2.10 and now i have insta eat ty guys i have to change my ign tho and reset my stats but it was fine!!! I now have insta eat and it is a really big help when i pvp!!!

If I were to update then it would automatically update to the latest version (and on 1.2.13(?) Is when vertx added insta eating to fix it )
