Compass acts as if in the nether

Bug description:

So apparently when you get the hell/nether bug it leaves you with the sky red (previously reported), but since compass, maps and (doesn't happen but a mention) the clock don't work in the nether, thus making (in this case ) the compass in (team)skywars and oitc useless because it'll spin around, not being able to locate players

No video is needed because you can experiment it in a world

No, I was at a game (the medieval/ Ruined kindom map) and the compass was spinning in circles and I said
"hey under here"
Nobody was there, until Martin said to me
"Pick up my stuff, they're over there"
And they were in fact over there , and then I crashed , unable to join again

I mean well, if you go to the nether, clocks, map and (in this case because maps and clocks aren't available to help you in bl) the compass doesn't work , so I said it because it was a mc mechanic

I got this in Hunger Games once, too. My compass pointed toward the edge of the map, but when I got there, nobody was around, not even a single person crouching
