K, so this is an old argument (is water wet, yadayadayada) but my friend and I were arguing (again) AND WATER IS NOT WET.
Some "scientific" explanation: water is made of h2o, which basically stands for hydrogen 2 oxygene (so there are 2 hydrogen molecules and 1 oxygen molecule). Based on the surface tension and cohesion of water on surfaces, water will make the object it is sticking to wet.
Here's a Google definition of what "wet" means:
wet
wet/

adjective
  1. 1.
covered or saturated with water or another liquid.
"she followed, slipping on the wet rock"
NOTICE THAT THE DEFINITION STATES "COVERED WITH WATER", not "IS WATER".

Sorry if I'm bringing back an old argument or just making some of you guys mad but I had to make it clear that water will NEVER be wet.

Thanks for listening to me rant once again.
Enjoy your day.
