How do I get night vision off of me

So I noticed I always have this night vision effect on me. I didnt mind it much until I started getting lag spikes and I think the lag spikes are coming from the particles that come from the night vision effect. Blopy talked about using an emerald or redstone block but idk what hes talking about. Also I think this isnt a bug bc everyone else seems to have it (i think) correct me if im wrong pls

It’s a new (not really new) feature to help u see in the dark
Since the r random darkness spot glitches vertx probably made this too help see in the dark not 100% if that’s the reason why he added

So basically vertx added the nightvision to fix another bug/glitch. There is currently no command to turn it off.
