I took Anmo’s kind suggestion for this night, I hope you enjoy it.

Inside a cozy appearing home, a telephone sits, ringing. A figure enters the room, answering. “Hello?”
“Hey. My target is down. You’re free to take yours out now.”
“Ah good job! I wouldn’t expect anything less. I’ll have it done by the chimes tonight.”
“I expect it to be easy for you.”
“Ah don’t worry about me. Just pick our next targets. Bye now, I got a plan.”
“Good luck. Bye.”

Walking through a dark alley, the figure from before adjusts their hood. They were to find their target, but that proved to be harder than originally thought.
Thankfully for the figure, their target was alone when found. This’ll be easy... they thought. Walking up behind the man sitting, reading a book in the park, the attacker readies their weapon. Suddenly, the man turns around and jumps up. “Whoa whoa what do you want...” says the man, putting his hands up.
“I don’t want anything. You are my target and I will take you out.” With this, the attacker rushes forward to stab the man. What the attacker didn’t take into consideration, was the speed of this guy. The guy moved too fast, causing the blade to miss its intended target, but still found its way into the male. Clutching his side, he took this chance to see who this person was attacking him. He lunged at the still armed person, ripping their hood down. He only saw the face for a brief second before the figures hands shot up to cover their now exposed face. “Damn it!” Forgetting about taking out their target, the figure turned and ran. No one can know... hopefully I was quick enough... they thought.

Stumbling his way through the empty streets, the man tried desperately to find the place he was looking for. Finally finding it, he knocked on the door loudly. “Who’s there it’s almost midn- Oh! Oh my god are you okay?!”
The person who had opened the door hurriedly pulled the injured man inside. After tending to his wounds, the doctor deemed the man to be good enough to return home. Leading the man to the door, the doctor asked “You’re lucky to have found me, now what’s your name?”
“Thomas, and thank you again.”
With that, Thomas left. Enjoying the sound of the chimes that rung throughout the city, having survived a Mafia attack.

With everyone gathered in the town-square, the execution votes were counted. Highlight was voted the most. Guards dragged the confused looking Highlight to the execution mechanism. He was executed within a few minutes of being dragged up there.
