Mystery in my House

Okay. There’s something fishy in my house, and you guess what is happening. It had been going on for awhile, but my brothers and I shrugged it off as if it was nothing. My mom brought proof — a shredded dress and shorts tied with strings from the dress. Now we’re all scared, because the dress was at the bottom of the used pile and the shorts were recently tossed out.

The Case: There is something in the closet that likes sabatoging our clothes and the neatness of the closet. Mom says she hears something coming in and out of our closet, and always checks before she goes to sleep around 12 AM. Sometimes she wakes up when she hears the closet door banging. However, we’re asleep for the whole night besides waking up occassionally. THE ONLY BEINGS IN THIS HOUSE ARE: My two brothers, Mom, my Betta fishies, and me

Theories:
- One of us were sleepwalking
- There’s a being living in our closet
- A ghost

WHAT IS IT JUST GUESS FOR ME TO HELP USS

Mom determined that animals cant do anything like use ribbons as shorts laces (according to her other evidence). Plus small mammals cant manuever the handle to open the closet and close it back

Maybe you should try to thoroughly check the closet.
Or maybe stay up late one night, to see who it might be?
Or install cameras?

My brothers thought of putting our giant Winnie-the-Pooh plushie against the closet door. Then one guy thought “WINNIE IS THE CULPRIT”

Other than that we’re trying this, then get a night shift dude if all else fails

I think it’s an animal. “Shredded dress” sounds like the animal shredded the dress rather than a human. I don’t think it’s a ghost or a human but idk... what time of the day do u guys hear the shuffling or whatever? If it’s night it’s prob an animal but if it’s day then... probs a animal too because the closet is dark anyways. Did u empty the closet? I think you might want to do that with your family to see if there’s anything else in there... when ur mom said she hears something coming in and out of the closet.... then uh... maybe it’s just the noise the whatever it is, banging or making noises inside of the closet. Or maybe leave ur closet open the whole time... and if it closes when no one is around then...uh.... RIP

There have been multiple nights where we left the closet door open. Something didnt bother to close it. There’s the second door in the back that leads to the main bathroom, but nothing bothers to open it. Then again, we’re using out giant pushie as the tester thingy

Plan 2 is me going on night shift because Im always awake around 3 AM or 1 AM or 5 AM or somesht

Nope. Nobody in my house sleepwalks at all to begin with. Im always awake past midnight for a few hours, and sometimes they get up to take a drink or go to the bathroom. They have no businesses with the closet o.o
