I'm just more comfortable starting with eyes and nose, then drawing the head around them. I suppose it depends on the style though - I have a pretty cartoonish style, but someone who draws realistically probably finds base lines incredibly importantSame XD I can’t figure out how to use them XD
I normally draw a circle, make a head shape, then ears, roughly where facial features go, a line for body positioning, connect, and add details an wa laI'm just more comfortable starting with eyes and nose, then drawing the head around them. I'm pretty sure face crosses are to place your eyes/nose/mouth/ etc. evenly and more accurate because for some people, they have hard time making the eyes even xD (pssst my sister is well known for this)So, I don't have to do face crosses?
