A topic that many beginners may often question. And one that some professionals may start thinking of when they get killed. Here is a simple guide to tell you what is targeting and isnt targeting
What is targeting?
Ahem, when someone repeatedly kills you on purpose, whether as his/her first kill or simply on purpose. Excludes when they kill you as a “joke” because theyre you friend or messing with you. But this targeting involved someone who is jealous of your or wants revenge.
Example: HAPPYxMANIAC keeps on getting killed by ExamplePerson in Survival Games. She thinks the player is doing this because she killed the player in Death Match (Previous Round).
IS NOT TARGETING: HAPPYxMANIAC notices that ExamplePerson keeps on killing her in Survival Games. However, the player explains that they somehow run into eachother, and that he isnt intending on targeting at all.

Okay, so now I have some noob-ish tips on how to identify targeting.
What is the game about?
I mean... You cannot target in Block Party at all, so I dont even know what to do if you say “She is targeting me in BP she keeps winning and making sure Im 2nd!!1!1!1” (Guys, dont be serious. We all know you cant target in BP).
If it’s a PvP game, then of course there might be targeting. In a game like QuakeCraft, however, it is possible to be killed by the same person and still not be declared “targeted.” I mean, rocket launchers everywhere and youre BOUND to be killed.
Find the reason why
Every targetter has a reason, whether it’s because you arent in their team or because theyre jealous. All you need to do if identify the “targeter” and wonder if you have any relationship and/or seen/play with that person multiple times. Then you should be familiar.
Maybe you killed that person and won the match after that? Maybe they notice youre a pro and dont like you? Because they need to eliminate you because you arent in their “team?” Idk, each targetter is different
