It's just the blocks failing to load properly, just run and move around and it'll be back to normal :3

This has been reported many times. It's because chunks do not load. Solve this by jumping off the edge before the 15 seconds of invincibility run out

U usually have to get pretty far from your spawnpoint before it loads XD And if u didn't have time to jump over the edge, u can click around for the chest and then sneak and build to another island, it loads for me after I do that

I suggest trying to grab the chest and building up as high as you can until you see the map again.
