Regening health with the food bar

So ive only been on Mb so im not sure if this is the same for other games but, I ran out of food and i was low due to pvp and so i wait awhile to regen with my food bar and once i think its full and start pvping...NOPE 3 & 1/2 hearts after a punch and im running around the map trying to get them to fall in lava. I think this is a glitch that shouldve been patched or atleast show the real health bc it is really fustrating when you think you have full health from regen without eating food next thing you get punched and wham 2 hearts then DEAD!

Actually, your hunger bar is never full so you can eat food, because eating food regens your hearts.

Yes i know but some of my friends kind of get tricked into the regening without eating the food and it shows they are regening but really they arnt and it affects pvp performance and enjoyability i was hoping this would get fixed

Yeah, I suppose the only solution would be to remove natural regen... or remove the system we use now and replace with natural regen and real hunger bar.
