Can One Particle Lag An Entire Server?

When I bought the InstaSpell particle (the potion splashing noise and black bubbles) People started complaining saying "I was the reason the entire server was lagging and saying I was a hacker and I was a horrible person over a walking particle ;-;. Please confirm to me I am not the reason of that ? @Aypifox @vertx

When i met plushie he was using this kind of particle so am i and then i said "Lets invade the server with lag in our hands" but the server didnt crash only the players xD

That happens to me a lot of times so I just use a other particle so the server will not crash.

No, particles won't affect the server performance...

... But affect the mcpe performance on player's devices... Particles are processed client-side, and when there is so many particles spawning in front of a player, if his device isn't powerful enough, he will lag and eventually crash... This is one more mcpe limitation, but this time it's not a mojang fault, xD

Anyway, we will nerf some laggy particles soon... Hope this solve this kind of issues...

... But affect the mcpe performance on player's devices... Particles are processed client-side, and when there is so many particles spawning in front of a player, if his device isn't powerful enough, he will lag and eventually crash... This is one more mcpe limitation, but this time it's not a mojang fault, xD

Anyway, we will nerf some laggy particles soon... Hope this solve this kind of issues...

I got to say my iPad is powerfull So I don't lag and crash but on my iPod it's different and I got The Splash potion particles (The worst ) lol

iPads are more advance than iPods and their RAM is much higher than the iPod.
