Why was my young son banned?

Hi There, I am writing this on behalf of my young son and am new at this and don't know the whole process etc. so please excuse me if I am doing something wrong. 2 days ago my young son was banned for 7 days, his name is TheDerpyIceCream, and we have no idea why and we believe this to be wrong. The time also changes, started off with 7 days then went down to 6 now back at 7 days. I have been watching him play and I can't see anything that he did wrong (although I'm not an expert) he went to bed and went to play the next day and saw he was banned. He was trying to convince me to buy the emerald rank for him out of his birthday money, but I'm not going to let him buy something where he can just get banned and can't play and waste his money. Any help you can offer in explaining this ban would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Your son was banned for Glitch Exploiting as seen in this post here. https://brokenlens.xyz/forums/threads/hacking.15520/#post-143661

Since flying is not enabled during the game and he somehow flew out of the map. We are sorry that he was banned but he was banned for Glitch Exploiting and is not tolerated on our server as it is unfair to the rest of the players.

He definitely didn't fly, and does not know how to hack

On february the 11th he was exploiting a glitch in a game called BlockParty. exploiting a glitch means that he was failing to return to the lobby when someone found him trying to win a BlockParty game by using a glitch where he spawns outside the arena and if that player was not to move or was to sneak for the whole game or at least half the game. we count it as Glitch Exploits.

In the other report you could see that he was Glitch Exploiting in a game called TNT-Run. Flying is never enabled on that minigame as the object is to run without falling into the void... as you run the gravel behind you disappears.

With the latest MCPE Update there has been a known glitch with an app called Toolbox. Allowing players to turn into creative mode while on our server. There has also been another Glitch like this in the game itself where you could turn to creative from inside the game. We count people who do this as hackers because so many people have been abusing these.

I just looked at that link, (and I was with him when he was playing then) and he definitely was not flying, and not hacking he was crouching on a block? If crouching is not allowed, then I will let him know

The crouching on a block counted as Glitch Exploiting.

Thank you for explaining that. We don't have an app called toolbox and he doesn't change from creative etc (this is my iPad that he uses so I know I definitely don't have anything like that on here and he can't download anything on here, only I can) He was already served a ban for the block party glitch on Feb 11 and hasn't done it since finding out it's not allowed. And he definitely doesn't hack, he doesn't even know how.

Okay, so i have decided to set his ban back to 5 days since something might have have gone wrong on our end. He will still be banned but for 5 days as part of the 10 day ban that he had received. Thanks for being patient and his ban should end on the 30th February 2017 at 02:49 GMT +1:00 If his ban does not end on that date i will unban him manually.

I don't understand how crouching is glitch exploiting, but as I said, I'm not up with all of this, but I will let him know that crouching is not allowed, is there anything else I need to make him aware of please?

It's mainly just the glitch exploiting in those types of games. crouching would make it so the player is not detected as standing on the block during games like TNT-Run, Bow-Spleef and BlockParty.
