"Hello everyone! Happy Hunger Games! As usual, I've got the tributes lined up backstage, ready to be interviewed - by me!" he laughed.
A chorus of cheers and laughs interspersed with wolf whistles echoed. They loved him.

(District 1) Wolfie's point of view
Wolfie sat in a simple, black and white suit, complete with a tie. As the male tribute from District 1, he was set to go first. All of the tributes were backstage; some stood pacing back and forth, others sat nervously on crates - everyone was wearing different coloured fancy dresses or suits.
Pixie gingerly walked over to Wolfie and practically fell onto the crate next to him. She was wearing a short-sleeved, pale pink dress (it was long enough to cover her shoes) with a darker pink sash around her waist. Her hair was out of the way in an intricate updo, that Wolfie didn't dare try to describe. The whole look was pulled together with a long, sparkling, diamond necklace.
"I swear, if these heels get any taller, my ankles are going to break." Pixie flung back her luscious curls and leaned forward to rest her head on her hands.
"I heard he's really nice, and friendly." She nodded to the stage, where a man's voice could be heard shouting to the crowd.
"Really? What's his name?" He still didn't take his eyes off Pixie.
"You had to ask," Pixie sighed. "Alright, don't quote me on this, but I think his name is Kentchu Oooeeaaa."
"Seriously?" Wolfie laughed. "Kentchu Oo-whatever-you-said?"
"Ken-sh-oo Oo-oh-ee-ah. No consonants in his last name," Pixie grinned.
Before he was able to say anything else, Wolfie felt a push on his back as a man told him to get ready to go onstage.

"Now, let's welcome our first tribute - Wolfie!"
The audience applauded as Wolfie walked onto the stage. He faked a smile and sat casually on the large, red, velvet seat opposite Kentchu. He rested his arms on the armrests and looked at Kentchu serenely. He wasn't really calm, but he knew he had to make a good impression on the audience, and looking untroubled and calm would definitely help.
"So, before we start, can you pronounce my name?" Kentchu asked slyly.
"Oh, we have got off to a bad start," Wolfie joked. "Here goes nothing; Ken-sh-oo Oo-ee-ah-oh."
"Very nearly," Kentchu grinned. "Kentchu Oo-oh-ee-ah."
"Kentchu Oo-ee-oh-ah."
"So close, but it's alright. Not many people can pronounce it," Kentchu chuckled.
"Kentchu Oo-ah-ee-oh," Wolfie laughed along with him. "You know what? I'm just going to call you Ken."
The audience roared with laughter, clearly quite fond of Wolfie.
"Ken?" Kentchu joined in with the audience. "Very well, Ken I am. Anyway, onto the interview. Tell us a little about yourself."
"Well, there's not much to say. I grew up in a beautiful district, I have five older siblings, all of whom have left to start their own lives. With me being the youngest, it's hard to stand out - that's why I am very thankful to our gracious Capitol for this opportunity."
The first part was true. The parts about Wolfie being thankful, and the Capitol being gracious - not so much. At least it would all be worth it if he achieved at least one sponsor.
Kentchu nodded. "And how do you feel about your chances of winning? Do you think you can do it?"
"I think I can do anything with some help from you guys," Wolfie grinned at the crowd.
The crowd roared at least three times as loud this time.
"Thank you, Wolfie. Your time is over now. Please make your way off the stage." Kentchu held out his hand for Wolfie to shake.
"Thank you too, Ken." Wolfie shook his hand.
Wolfie stood up and waved to the crowd.
I think that it's safe to say, he thought to himself, that I have got myself a sponsor or two.
He turned his back on the raging crowd, just in time to see Pixie lose her balance and start to fall forwards. She waved her arms madly, and shifted her balance to her heels in an attempt to save herself, only to fall backwards instead.

(District 1) Pixie's point of view
Pixie opened her eyes to find herself looking up at Wolfie. She was lying in his arms with one leg up in the air. It must've looked very strange from the audience's point of view, especially because they weren't a couple. She had closed her eyes as she fell, because she couldn't bear to see the disgusted expressions on everyone's faces. But surprisingly, no one looked disgusted, including Wolfie, who looked very concerned. A whole load of "aww"s were ringing out from the audience.
He gently lowered her back down to the ground, both carefully and awkwardly.
"Are you okay?" Wolfie asked as Pixie smoothed out her dress.
"Yes," Pixie promptly muttered. Her face was blushing a deep shade of red.
Wolfie looked at her one last time, before heading backstage.
"Well, now that's over," Kentchu chuckled. "Welcome, Pixie!"
The crowd cheered, encouraging Pixie to take a seat. She stepped cautiously over to the seat and sat down, making sure to be as lady-like as possible.
"Thank you, Kentchu." Pixie smiled.
"First question: can you describe yourself in one word?"
"That's an easy one. There's only one word to describe myself. Me."
"An excellent answer, and I'm sure everyone can agree," Kentchu looked towards the audience, waiting for a response. They roared in approval.
"At the reaping, I saw you volunteered for your sister. Do you have a good relationship with her?"
Pixie pursed her lips. "Of course, we're inseparable. I'd do anything for her."
Kentchu nodded. "And last question, are you and Wolfie in a relationship?"
The crowd oohed, some people were perched on the edge of their seats.
"I suppose it was inevitable," Pixie sighed. "No. No, we're not. We're just friends."
The audience's reaction was a mix of disappointed and dreamy sighs, some people obviously thought she was lying.
"If you say so," Kentchu grinned. "Well guys, that wraps that up. Your time is up, thank you."

(District 2) Phoenix's point of view
"Welcome, Phoenix! Can you tell us a little about yourself?"
"Here's something; I'm going to win," Phoenix grunted. He didn't have time for this stuff, he just wanted to win and go back to his district - which shouldn't be too hard. His only worry was the girl from his district, Elania she had said her name was.
"Uh, that's nice," Kentchu smiled. "How long do you think it will take you?"
"Not long," Phoenix replied curtly.
"In that case, how does one week sound to you? You think you can win in that short amount of time?"
Phoenix shrugged his shoulders. "Probably."
Kentchu nodded. "You're with the careers, right?"
"Correct. We're going to kill everyone, then I'm going to win. Easy."
"Well, you seem adamant that you're going to win," Kentchu laughed. "Make some noise for Phoenix!"
The audience burst into applause as Phoenix stood up and bowed. They believed he could win. And that was what he was planning to do.

(District 2) Elania's point of view
Elania stood in a jet black, figure-hugging dress, a silver headband sat on top of her shoulder-length, medium-brown hair. She wore a pair of black pumps. Her stylist clearly didn't know her kind of style. She would have never gone for a dark outfit, it doesn't come across well with the audience. But of course, her stylist was a highly trained professional. Who was she to judge her sense of fashion?

"Welcome, Elania!"
"Thank you, Kemshmoo," she smiled, that was his name, right?
The audience burst out laughing.
"Please, just call me Ken," Kentchu chuckled. "Anything you can say about yourself?"
Elania kept smiling. "Nothing much. Except. I really want to win this, and I know I can count on you, right?"
The crowd burst into applause and wolf whistles.
"So, you think we should bet on you and maybe even sponsor you?"
"Yes, I may not look like much, but once I get into the arena you'll see." She narrowed her eyes and put on a fierce face.
The noise from the crowd grew even louder.
"Well, I'm definitely convinced. What's your preferred weapon?"
"Anything I can get my hands on really, I've been trained in all types of weapons so that's not a problem."
"Well, your time is up, nice meeting you, thank you."
Elania smiled as sweetly as she could and strolled off the stage, immediately taking her uncomfortable headband and shoes off.
You may think she had been a bit too nice. Don't worry, it's all part of a plan. What was it her mentor had said?
"Be kind and sweet to the Capitol, save all your energy for the arena, you're going to need it."
Well, that was her plan. Her mentor was one of the only people she listened to, mostly because she had been in The Hunger Games and won it (just like Elania was hoping to do), but also because Elania quite liked her mentor - although she hated telling anyone that.

(District 4) Strelitzia's point of view
Strelitzia sat in an orange and peach ombré dress, it fell down to just past her knees. Her feet rested in orange flats, each one decorated with a small, pink bow. Her long, light-brown hair was curled and fell neatly around her shoulders.
"How are you feeling about The Games ahead of you?"
"Quite good actually," she replied. "I'm with the careers, so I've got a good team, I have a plan, and I know where to find food and water."
"Do you think you have a good chance at winning?"
She contemplated it for a moment before answering, "I think I have a reasonable chance, yes."
"Will you reveal your plan?" Kentchu asked wistfully.
"No. But you'll see as it unravels," she replied tersely.
"Alright, your time is over. Thank you!"
The crowd applauded, more out of politeness than anything else. What they didn't know is that she had a very intelligent plan, one her and her mentor had come up with together. The Capitol would soon realise that and start sponsoring her - much too late for any of the tributes to prepare for it.

(District 5) Arrow's point of view
Arrow's suit and tie were immaculate, they were the smartest clothes he had ever worn. He walked onto the stage and shook hands with Kentchu - just like the previous tributes had done.
"Welcome, Arrow!" Kentchu shook his hand. "Can you describe yourself in three words?"
Arrow sat down and opened his mouth in shock as he glanced at the audience, he had never seen so many people! "Umm, describe myself in three words, I, uhh... I-I love-" he broke off before finishing.
"You love? You love who? Or what?" Kentchu shoved the microphone closer to his face.
"I-I love... S-Snowy," Arrow stuttered.
The crowd oohed, Kentchu gasped.
"Are you two going to team in the arena? Or are you too scared to lose each other?"
"We're going to team," Arrow gritted his teeth. He really regretted telling them he loved Snowy, but he couldn't help himself.
"I'm afraid that's all we have time for now. Please make your way off stage, thank you."
The audience sighed, some even booed.
"Don't worry, we will have Snowy onstage soon!"

(District 6) Snowy's point of view
As Snowy cautiously walked onto the stage, the whole audience burst into applause - which surprised her and made her body tingle with anxiety, but also excitement. Her knee-length, silver dress and silver tiara sparkled under the bright lights of the stage. She was also wearing silver, high heeled shoes which she found quite hard walk in. Her dark hair fell straight down her back. If she did say so herself, she looked quite pretty, maybe even beautiful.
She sat gracefully down on the chair across from the interviewer, Kentchu.
"Wow!" he exclaimed. "You look simply gorgeous, Snowy! Just like a princess!"
"Why thank you, Kentchu." She looked down at her lap as a slight tinge of pink grew on her cheeks.
"I'm sorry, but we're all dying to know what's happening between you and Arrow."
What was happening between her and Arrow? What had Arrow told them?
"Sorry, I don't understand."
"Oh, you don't know? Arrow said he loves you."
Arrow said he loved her? This wasn't how she wanted her interview to be. She wanted it to be about her. Not her relationships.
"Could we just get on with the interview?" she asked impatiently.
Loud, annoyed sounds could be heard coming from the audience.
"Yes, sorry. Was this outfit your choice?"
"Partly, I wanted the silver, my amazing stylist put together the rest." Snowy smiled.
Kentchu continued asking questions, and she did her best to reply to them. But she couldn't help feeling a little wistful. She kind of wished she had never met Arrow, now. Although she really enjoyed spending time with him, sometimes he could be quite annoying. After all, he had ruined her chance of getting any sponsors.

(District 7) Leo's point of view
Of course, Leo was the unluckiest person in the world.
As he was walking onto the stage towards his seat, he tripped on his shoe lace.
In front of thousands of people.
On live television.
Who's gonna sponsor him now?

Leo pushed himself up from the floor, ignoring the sniggers from the audience. He sat on the chair and pretended to brush his shirt.
"That was quite a fall, Leo, are you alright? Here, I'll give you a hug." Kentchu hugged Leo and patted him on the back while the crowd oohed.
"I'm fine, I just tripped," he said whilst tying his shoe lace. The audience's faces looked disappointed, he didn't really know why. What were they hoping would be the reason?
"That's good. Now tell me Leo, have you got any allies in games?" Kentchu grinned as if it was easy to make friends.
"Nope, I don't. No one really wanted to be friends with me." He sighed and adjusted his glasses.
The audience laughed as if they knew exactly why no one wanted to team with him.
"Well, that's okay, I'm sure you'll do great despite that. So, you look pretty smart in your outfit, do you normally wear these kinds of clothes in your district?"
The crowd laughed, it was as if they were saying, "Of course not, nothing is better than the Capitol!" Leo very much agreed with them.
"Nope, my clothes at home are nothing compared to this. I literally wore rags."
He mentally face palmed himself after saying that. Who's going to sponsor a boy who wears rags? Definitely not him!
"Oh, well at least you get fancy clothes now. And if you win, you'll have some to take back to your district!" Kentchu grinned broadly.

As he walked off the stage, Leo felt forlorn. He was expecting his interview to go much better. At home he used imagine what his interview would be like if he got picked. It certainly wasn't anything like what just happened. He had hoped it would be like a fairy tale.
Maybe fairy tales just don't come true.

(District 7) Rouge's point of view
"Listen, I don't have the time for this "girly" stuff. I just want to get in that arena and win," Rouge snapped. "And what are you doing with my hair, anyway? It's perfectly fine how it was."
Rouge slumped her shoulders and looked down at her lap. Her stylist ignored her rude comments and continued to style her hair.
"I'm just curling your hair, don't move your head and sit up straight please. I'm almost finished."

About ten minutes later (it felt like a lot longer), Rouge's stylist was finally done. Rouge felt drousy and not at all like going onstage.
"Alright, darling, you can go look in the mirror. I have to go now. Toodle pip!" And with that, her stylist left.

Rouge got up from her comfortable chair and looked at herself in the mirror. She was wearing a long, red silk gown and black platform shoes. She had a silver and ruby tiara resting on her head, her long black hair was curled and flowed beautifully around her shoulders. Her nails were painted smoothly with a deep red nail polish. She also had a silver, ruby ring, a black choker and ruby earrings. She looked absolutely gorgeous, but at the same time she looked fake.
Everyone and everything was fake in the Capitol.

After admiring herself in the mirror, Rouge wondered over to the line of tributes waiting to go onstage to be interviewed. She quietly slipped behind Leo and began staring at the other tributes. Everyone looked unreal, as if they were from a story.

Rouge waited and waited for what seemed like hours, until finally it was her turn. She felt like going back to her room and sleeping, but instead she held her head high.
"Please welcome, Rouge!"

Rouge walked onto the stage and faked a big smile. She had a plan. If the Capitol was gonna be fake, so was she.
She sat down on the big, red armchair and smiled brightly at the interviewer, who she was told was called Kentchu Oooeeaaa.
"Hello, Rouge, welcome! How are you?" Kentchu boomed.
"I'm good, the Capitol is wonderful - especially the food!"
The crowd laughed. Rouge felt sick inside as she said that, but still, she faked another sweet smile. Why shouldn't she be happy? Her plan was working.
"Yes, the food is absolutely delicious! Now tell me, that little girl at the reaping, was she your sister?" Kentchu asked.
"Yes, her name's Snow. And I'm going to get back to her - I have a plan. Then I'll give her a huge hug." Rouge giggled, but on the inside she felt weird. She hated acting like this.
And what if they found out she was just faking it?
"Uh, Rouge? Did you hear me?"
Everyone was watching her. She kept calm and tried to think of an excuse.
"Oh, sorry, I was just thinking of- of how amazing this place is!" The crowd roared and clapped with excitement. Kentchu laughed heartily.
"Yes, this place is quite amazing isn't it? Anyway, about that secret plan of yours."
Rouge felt uneasy and she could feel her cheeks going red.
"Would you let me in on it?" Kentchu leaned his head towards her as if asking her to whisper her plan in his ear.
"Then, it wouldn't be a secret plan, would it? You'll find out in The Games." Rouge giggled again.
Kentchu pretended to be upset and frowned at her.
"Alright then. Oh, I believe your interview is over. It was nice meeting you, Rouge! And by the way, you look stunning! Simply divine!" Kentchu shouted as she was leaving. Before she left the stage, she struck a pose. The crowd applauded and she could hear people screaming compliments at her.
Boy, I hate acting like that, Rouge thought to herself, at least they completely fell for it. Now I can finally go sleep.
View reply.

(District 8) Aypi's point of view
Aypi walked onto the stage and waved at the audience. She was wearing a short, dark violet dress and pale gold slingback shoes. Her straight, medium-brown hair fell loosely around her shoulders. Aypi thought she looked pretty cute herself, but didn't want to admit in case people thought she was full of herself.

"Hello, Aypi! Welcome!" Kentchu patted the empty seat in front of him, gesturing for her to sit. She thanked him then sat down. The audience was screaming wildly at her, trying to get her attention. She smiled at them, then turned towards Kentchu.
"So, Aypi, do you have any allies yet?" Kentchu asked eagerly. She liked Kentchu, he wasn't as fake or rude as everyone else in the Capitol.
"Yes, I'm teaming with Fire. She's really nice, and extremely skilled, I also know I can trust her!" Aypi smiled happily. That wasn't a lie, she did trust her. As soon as she met Fire, the two of them became the best of friends.
"Ooh, that's good then! Is there anything you've heard about other tributes, anything you can tell us?" Kentchu laughed. Sometimes she thought he was reading everything off of a paper, he always seemed to have something to say. But he wasn't holding a paper, nor did he have any kind of communication device.
"Well..." she thought for a moment. "I've heard there is some romance going on between Pixie and Wolfie." Aypi winked. She knew everyone already knew that, but she had nothing else to say"
"Haha, yes, let's hope they stay together forever." He sighed.

Aypi smiled and waved again as she hopped off stage. Everything had gone well for her, she just hoped it would be the same for Fire...

(District 9) Waffles' point of view
Waffels shuffled slowly and nervously towards the stage while fiddling with his tie. He felt like throwing up. His stylist had had to go help somewhere else, and Waffels was left to tie his own tie. He didn't have a clue how to do it! It's not like they even wore ties in his district.

After a while, he gave up trying to tie his tie and stumbled into the bright light of the stage. The crowd laughed like a bunch of monkeys. Kentchu merely grinned.
"Well then," Kentchu started, trying not to laugh. "What happened with your tie? Here, let me help you."
Kentchu leaned forward and tied Waffels' tie, it looked so easy when he did it. Waffles didn't think the interview started too well, and he didn't find the tie thing funny, but he went along with it.
"So, Waffels, why wasn't your tie tied?"
"Well, my stylist had to go do something else and she left me to tie it myself. But I don't know how to do it."
The audience laughed, a few people clapped. He wondered if he was making people hate his stylist, or worse, him.
"Would you like me to teach you?" Kentchu kindly offered.
The crowd clapped and yelled for him to show Waffels.
"Sure." He didn't really want Kentchu to show him, he just wanted everyone to forget about this, but he wanted the crowd to be happy - he needed sponsors.
"I never know when I'll need it next," he added.
The rest of the interview was mostly just Kentchu showing him how to tie his tie. Not once did they let him forget his embarrassment with his tie.

(District 9) Fire's point of view
Fire skipped onto the stage and smiled happily. She waved at the crowd before sitting down in the chair. She was wearing a short turquoise dress with a white ribbon tied around the waist and silver sandals. Her ginger hair curled down her back.
"Hello, Fire! How are you?" Kentchu asked. Fire liked him, he was funny, there never seemed to be a dull moment in his interviews.
"Hi! I'm good, the Capitol is fantastic!" Fire smiled. She hoped her smile didn't seem too fake, because honestly, it wasn't. She was used to being told her smile seemed fake back at her home, but she always thought that was because no one could be happy in her district, unless they were rich.
"I'm glad you think that! So, Aypi told me that you and her are teaming. Is that true?" The crowd started muttering all sorts of things. She could only imagine what they were.
"Yes, that is true. We're really good friends. Waffels is our friend, too. I love them both!"
The audience laughed and she copied.
Maybe if if you fit in, they'll like you more, she thought, it's worth a shot.
"Ok, I just wanted to make sure. You said you love them, but maybe you love one of them maybe just a little bit more than friends?" Kentchu laughed and the crowd joined in.
"No, nothing like that." She didn't like Waffels in that way. They were merely friends, nothing more. Maybe not even friends, maybe something less than friends.

As she was leaving the stage, she twirled and blew a kiss towards the audience. The crowd roared.
That's fooled them, she smiled to herself.

(District 11) Ray's point of view
Ray adjusted his bowtie. He felt smart and pretty confident in his black suit, he had nothing to worry about. The crowd was gonna love him... right?

As he walked onto the stage, the crowd cheered and clapped with delight. He sat down on one of the red seats and smiled innocently. Kentchu laughed and shook Ray's hand.
"Welcome, welcome! So, Ray, you look quite handsome in your outfit, is there any girl you want to impress?" Kentchu chuckled and the crowd roared with laughter.
"Haha, no actually. But thanks for the compliment!" Ray said.
The crowd laughed once again. He heard someone ask if they could be his girlfriend, that just made everyone laugh even harder.
Ray smiled to himself. Everything was going well, he thought it would be a lot harder to get the audience to like him.
"Right, so what about teaming? Do you have any allies in the games?" Kentchu asked, curiously.
Ray pondered for a moment, then he remembered that Lauren and Jc wouldn't want anyone to know they were teaming.
"Yes, I am teaming, but I'm not gonna say with who."
The crowd booed and yelled at him to tell them, but fortunately Kentchu told them to be quiet so they could carry on with the interview.
"So," Kentchu began. "What's your weapon of choice?"
Ray felt nervous. He didn't have a weapon of choice because he couldn't fight. He decided to just wing it.
"Well, I'm good with any weapon, really. I'm really good with spears and swords, but any weapon would be fine. I'm stronger than people think."
The crowd started murmuring amongst themselves, and at first he thought he said something wrong or they didn't believe him, but then they all smiled. Kentchu chuckled and patted Ray on the back.
"Haha, people better watch out for you then! Oh my, would you look at the time, it was nice talking to you Ray, good luck in the games!"
Ray got up and thanked him. As he was walking off the stage, people started throwing roses at him, so he winked at the audience. He hoped he had made an impression on them, because he needed sponsors, and he needed them now.

(District 11) Elina's point of view
Elina smoothed out her long sleeved, dark blue ball gown and slipped on her navy high-heeled shoes.
She had asked to put on her jewellery herself, she hated the idea of someone else doing it all for her.
After trying to gracefully slip her shoes on, she put on a sparking silver necklace with a large sapphire. She then put on some dangling sapphire earrings. Her hair was in a high bun with some loose strands sticking out at the sides.
"Perfect!" She smiled to herself.

As she walked, it looked more like she was gliding, the crowd applauded and threw roses at her. She smiled slightly at them. She didn't really know what to think of everything, at home she was more like a ghost - invisible to everyone.
Elina slid into the empty chair and flinched as Kentchu kissed her hand. She felt a little angry, how dare anyone just kiss her hand without asking! No one had ever done that to her before, she must have looked really gorgeous.
"Now, now, quiet down everyone. So, Elina, you look spectacular today! How are you feeling? Do you like you dress? You look ravishing!"
The crowd seemed to agree, as they screamed and yelled compliments at her.
"I'm feeling good, I love my dress, and I do look gorgeous, if I do say so myself."
Elina bit her lip. "But none of this seems real..."
Either Kentchu didn't hear the last part, or he ignored it, Elina kind of hoped he did hear it. She wanted someone here to know how she actually felt.
"Yes, you do look beautiful!" Kentchu chuckled. "So tell me, Elina, do you have any siblings at home? Tell me about your parents."
Elina was infuriated. First he kisses her hand, now he asks about her family!
"To answer you question, I don't have any siblings. But how dare you ask me such a personal question! You have no right to ask me that, and no right to kiss my hand. None of you have the right to call me beautiful, because you don't know the real me! This isn't me! This is just something you've done to make me forget you're sending me to my death!"
Elina pulled out her hair band and let her hair fall loosely. She grabbed her necklace and pulled it off, letting the sapphire fly into the audience and into the hands of a lucky person. She stormed off stage, being careful not to fall and embarrass herself.
She hated the Capitol.
She hated how they hid under their riches, pretending to be kind people.
How can a kind person send children to their deaths?

(District 12) Jc's point of view
The girl from District 11 had just gone on and Jc was next. He wanted to be sick. What if they hated him? What if he didn't have any sponsors? What if-
"Shut up," Jc said aloud. Now what is everyone gonna think of him?!
Get your act together, Jc, he told himself.
"Who did you tell to shut up?" A girl asked.
Uh oh, he thought.
"Uh, I was meant to-"
"Say that in your head? Be more careful next time." The girl sniggered.
He heard people laughing at him. It felt as if the whole world was watching him, his insides shrivelled with embarrassment.
"Ok, I just-" he began, but was cut off by his name being called.
"Jc!"

As Jc walked onto the stage, he felt everyone's eyes on him. He kept wondering how he would do, but only time could tell.
"Hello, and welcome, Jc!"
He waved and smiled at the audience, they grinned back. Capitol people are usually happy, so it could mean anything. He sat down on one of the red armchairs and shook hands with Kentchu.
"So, Jc, is Lauren your sister? Or are you just really close friends? Or...?" Kentchu winked and laughed. Jc had just assumed everyone would figure that they were siblings.
"She's my sister." He didn't want to talk much, he didn't even know if Lauren wanted everyone to know they were siblings. Probably not, he knew she would hate being known as "Jc's sister". He felt annoyed at the thought.
"Oh. And were you annoyed when she volunteered for that girl?" Kentchu asked.
The crowd all looked at Jc with their eyes wide, eager to know the answer.
"Well yes, I was pretty mad at her, but I got over it. I can't hold a grudge against her in The Games, she's my only friend." Jc felt bad not saying Ray was his friend, but they all agreed not to let anyone know they were teaming.
"Really? You seem like a really friendly guy, I thought everyone would be begging to be on your team. I know I sure would!"
That's why everyone loved Kentchu. He made everyone feel better about themselves, and Jc was grateful for that.
Well, the crowd seemed to like him, but you never know! Maybe they'll change their minds. Those Capitol people are crazy...

(District 12) Lauren's point of view
Lauren hated her stylist. She had made her wear- No. She couldn't even bear to say it. A pink dress.
But that wasn't all, the dress was a frilly sort of dress, and even worse: it was decorated with bows. Pink bows.
It hadn't been easy getting her into the dress, she had punched and kicked a lot, there was a lot of screaming, someone had lost an eye - okay, that last one was a lie, but you get the message. It had taken six peacekeepers, and even then it had taken them five minutes before they were successful. Fortunately, the drama had not been for nothing, they were unsuccessful at getting her to wear the pink, sparkly shoes and the Hello Kitty headband. Seriously? Hello Kitty?

"Welcome, Lauren!"
"Thank you, Mr. No Consonants," Lauren teased him.
The crowd burst out laughing.
Kentchu scowled. "I take great pride in my name, so don't insult it," he muttered as quietly as possible.
"Whatever you say Oo-oh-ee-ah-ay-eye-oo-ee-ow," Lauren said as loud as she could.
"Kids," Kentchu muttered sullenly. "How big do you think your chance at winning is?"
"Hmm, let me think," Lauren scratched her chin. "Well, bigger than you, for starters."
By the time she said this, the audience were practically dying of laughter.
"Are you teaming with anyone?"
"If you're asking me to team with you, then no thanks."
Kentchu's face was growing red with rage. "Last question. How do you like it here in the Capitol?"
"I do need a new shower, I think I broke mine."

~ 24 hours later ~
Lauren sat with Jc outside the rooms they would enter just before The Games started, which was in ten minutes. They have to enter separately, but would see each other as soon as they enter they arena.
Lauren nudged Jc with her arm. "You nervous?"
"Yeah. You?"
"I'm never nervous," Lauren grinned. "Listen. We both run towards the cornucopia, grab the closest bag. Then I'll signal for us to run a way I think is best, and we go from there. Got it?"
"Got it," Jc didn't dare argue with her, it was a good plan, anyway. "But what about Ray?"
Lauren sighed. "He can come too, you better go tell him the plan."
Jc nodded and went off to discuss with Ray.
As soon as he left, Lauren's stylist entered the room and told her to put on a suit, she was told all the tributes had the exact same suit to make sure it's fair.
After she had put it on and her stylist had adjusted it, Lauren stepped inside a small, glass tube. When she was fully inside, the glass door closed behind her and she started rising up. She looked up, and to her surprise, there was a clear, blue sky.

She squinted as the blinding sun shined down at her. When she opened her eyes, a huge, gold cornucopia filled with weapons and supplies stood about one hundred metres in front her. All around it, in a circle, stood the twenty-four tributes. Scattered in between the tributes and the cornucopia were more supplies.
Above the cornucopia, a timer was counting down the seconds until The Hunger Games officially started.

What happened if you stepped off early? That question was answered by a very stupid tribute. Lauren watched as a boy, about Jc's age, stepped off his podium.
BOOM!
Well, Lauren thought, that's one tribute down.

Lauren scanned the tributes until she found Jc. He was standing next to Ray and another boy she had heard was called Wolfie, they were about ten podiums away from her.

She tried waving to him. He didn't notice. She shouted his name, he looked at her and nodded in reply, whilst muttering something to Ray.

She spotted a small backpack quite near her, it looked like it had a few knives strapped to it.
Good start, she thought to herself.

She stood in a position ready to run towards the backpack. She was faster than almost everyone she knew back in her district. Let's just hope she was faster than everyone here too.

Pink bows.

Really? I love dresses, I think they're comfortable. I don't have any though, my Mum seems to never notice when I need clothes but then she does when my other siblings do. Some times she buys clothes for my siblings when they don't need them lol
Welp, I guess we stalk people xD

Well you got me summed up.
I hate dresses they make me feel super uncomfortable, I have no idea how people can wear them at all, last time I was forced to wear a dress i didnt talk to anyone cause of how pissed off i was
Also the part when I felt sick due to pretending to be someone I'm not, is me in a nutshell.

Just be happy you aren't forced to wear it for a whole 8 hours and 15 minutes because your school uniform is a dress.

UGH WHY ARE MALE CLOTHING SO COMFORTABLE COMPARED TO FEMALE CLOTHING?!

Skirts are better than a dress imo, but still horrible.

If i could choose what clothing I want, i'd choose everything i need .from the male section (although some cute af shirts from the female section are okay too... .-.)

Yep, dresses are really uncomfortable. But I don't mind wearing them every now and again, probably because I don't have to wear them, or skirts, to school everyday
...
Awesome story! :)

I love you too , Arrow. ^-^

(District 2) Phoenix's point of view
"Welcome, Phoenix! Can you tell us a little about yourself?"
"Here's something; I'm going version because all these sorry Losers are freaking idiots," Phoenix snarled. He didn't have time for this stuff, he just wanted to win because he's thirsty for blood - which shouldn't be too hard cause he is a savage killer. His only worry was the himself due to elina isn't that much of a threat
"Uh, that's nice," Kentchu smiled. "How long do you think it will take you?"
"Ty i know it is, I think 1-2 people each day so about a week," Phoenix replied curtly.
"You think you can win in that short amount of time?"
Phoenix shrugged his shoulders. "What do you think, do I look that weak, Moron."
Kentchu nodded. "You're with the careers, right?"
"Nope. I go solo people who team are weak and even if I team i betray, then I'm going to win. Easy."
"Well, you seem adamant that you're going to win," Kentchu laughed. "Make some noise for Phoenix!"
The audience burst into applause as Phoenix stood up and bowed. They believed he could win. And that was what he was planning to do.

This is my version
