gifs on profile/signature

i’m currently trying to update my signature on here, but no matter what i do the gif comes up as unavailable on my profile once i save it.

i remember having that same issue years ago, but for the life of me cannot remember what i would do to fix that

a few other people i know are having the same issue, so any advice on how to get them to work is greatly appreciated!!

Edit: I cracked it finally!! you have to open a gif from tenor in a new tab, then copy it from there

i think you have to be on ipad or a computer in order for it to work - i can’t get it to work on my phone :,)
i got to the page of the gif i wanted, held down on the picture, and dragged it to make a new tab so just the gif shows up. after that i either held down on it in the new tab and copied the image, or copied the link of the new tab!! i’ll see if i can get a video for it sometime tomorrow
