With fear, Icy woke up. She glanced around, and there was nothing but darkness. She tried to rewind the weird dream, but the only thing she remembered was the terrifying and hopeless scream, as if someone got stabbed in the heart with great fear. Who was it? She thought.That face was familiar. But soon she found out that's not an important problem. The real problem was where she is, and why she's here.
Icy got up from the hard bed and tried to seek the switch of light in pure darkness. Suddenly, someone shouted "ouch" and scared Icy off.
"WHO WAS THAT" the loud male voice shouted, "You stepped on my hand!"
"S- sorry, I can't see anything-" Icy apologized, "Where are you?"
"Must be in front of you, ma'am."
Icy then stepped back and tried to pull the man up. "Thanks, I guess."
"Do you have any idea of where we are?" Icy questioned, "oh and my name is Icy, nice to meet you."
The man went silent for a few seconds, " I really thought it's you who took me here, it seemed I'm wrong. My name is Eyow, nice to meet you Icy."
The whole room went silent again.
"Uhm, Eyow…? Do you know how can we get out of here?"
"I have no idea, but we might not be alone, there are still others in this room."
They looked around, but the darkness made them blind and they ended up seeing nothing.
"You can see in the dark don't you?" it was awkward to ask, Icy thought.
"Nope, I imagined." Eyow replied, laughing. "Listen, there are people breathing, I think they're near us somewhere."
Icy tried to hear, but still got nothing.
At the same time, a streak of light appeared, making both of them shocked.
"There's the door." they thought. They tried to reach the door, but they suddenly got shocked at their back by electricity out of nowhere.
Clik. The door's dead closed, again.
They both touched their back, and there's a small wound there, swollen, as if there's something buried inside.
"Hello fellow players, welcome!" a robotic sound again shocked them. "Time to wake up and play!"
The room became bright all of a sudden. Icy and Eyow looked at each other and went sluggish for a second. They glanced at the half-opened door, and found out there was nothing outside.
"Finally we can see things," Icy turned around to see how the room was like, " and you're right… there are a lot of them…"
Eyow smiled, and started to count. "Ten. There are ten more people here. So it's twelve in total."
The room was old and rusty with several leakings. There are in total three beds, and except for the one which Icy was on, the other two beds were occupied with 4 people. Others seemed to be pushed off the beds and were sleeping deeply.
"There's childs… unbelievable." Eyow whispered. He stepped forward, tried to touch one of the guys on the bed. Suddenly, all of them got up and cried out loudly. Eyow was freaked out and so was Icy. All of them seemed to be shocked by electricity- just like what they experienced minutes ago.
"Where are we? Who are you?"
"Why am I here?! Get me out of this freaking place!"
"Wh- what just happened? Jeez…"
"Be quiet!! For god's sake..."
"Man, chill, chill."
There's chaos. Every single person that just got up keep questioning others, while others have no idea what they're talking about.
"Quiet!" one of the people shouted, stamping his foot hard on the shattered wooden floor. Everyone went quiet with their eyes reflected with fear. "just be quiet for a second… and we figure what the hell is happening here together, okay?"
Some of them nodded. "Great… so it seemed YOU TWO were awake while we still lost our consciousness… you guys must know something, SPILL IT OUT."
He's voice and eyes were filled with anger. "Say it." he shouted.
Icy was wordless since she'd never met such an aggressive person before. She made her mouth open and wanted to say something, but Eyow spoke before she could even come up with a single word. "We know nothing, like you." he replied. "Both of us just got up not long ago. And all we got was a robot speaking somewhere."
That man calmed down, "Oh well, what did it say then?" he said.
"I think it was something like 'get up and play' or something, I couldn't remember it clearly."he stopped for a second, "but I think it's from a speaker somewhere, we saw nothing arounds."
The aggressive man thought for a second, then announced, "Well, well. So it's like a stranger-murdering game isn't it? Hehe… my life- well, why don't we introduce ourselves while we can do nothing here?"
"Hey, don't say such a bad thing like that," a young teenage girl said, "I believe everything will be fine then. While it's YOU that made that suggestion, then I think it'll be great if you go first." she smiled gently at that man.
"Oh, I totally forgot that! Thanks- I'm Nickle, nice to meet you guys!" he smiled back.
"And I'm Kitten, I'm a student now. Nice to meet you guys too."
Shortly, all of them introduced themselves.
Icy, a young woman that had incredible high level of reasoning, and was smart enough to put the puzzles back together.
Eyow, a mysterious man that is somehow introverted, but was more extroverted than others thought.
Nickle, a 13-year-old child who's easy to be angered, but seemed to have a secret skill that no one knew.
Kitten, a beautiful young girl who can run at the speed of wind, and was skillful in close combat.
Foz, yet another mysterious man that liked to sleep, and was always sleepy. No one really knows what he was talking about since he fell asleep while introducing, but we can be sure he liked to be alone.
Shive, an extroverted person that liked to make friends and whenever he's alone, he would just chillin'.
Zabbyy, a man that recognized Shive and had a bad relationship with him. No one knows what really happened, and both of them did not want to mention it.
Jason, the youngest child here that practices kung fu everyday. Unlike most other childs, Jason was respectful to others.
Zack, not a very talkful person and some thought he was awkward in some ways.
Kota, the one who likes technology a lot and wore a special suit that could make himself blend into darkness whenever he wanted. Was awkward in others' opinion.
Yuxxa, a man that's friendly and seemed helpful. He showed his patience by waiting for Foz to get up to finish his introduction. Everyone thought he looked smart.
Kimmy, a young girl who's not very patient with others except for Eyow. She seemed to have a good relationship with Eyow, but Eyow said he didn't know her at all.
Twelve strangers, twelve fates. What will they face in the future? And why are they here? What was the robotic voice then? These remained a mystery in their hearts…

Hey there! Thanks for your reading. Never had thought I'll be typing this today but... Here ya go! This might not be an interesting chapter since I have to introduce all the char in this way but it'll be surprising and spooky in the up coming chapter!
