Can’t connect to the server

Whenever I try to join it brings me to a screen that says “disconnected from server” is this part of the server or is it my profile?

My friend and I are on 1.16.220, both have the same message and are on Windows 10. Is it a coincidence or does this just happen until the server updates. New to windows and not used to automatic version updates. Started around 2-3pm pacific yesterday.

If you're on 1.16.220 it's probably because the server is not updated yet, here is another thread about this:

If you updated to 1.16.220 it'll take a while for the server to update to the new version i suggest waiting or playing another game c:
