I'm sorry kim but, This is like saying to a depressed person to stop being depressed. You can't always be happy when your parents are just happy of your grades, So no matter bad my mental and physical health is. It doesn't matter </3..
Jairich I don’t think you understand what is the diff of happiness nor being happy for grades.
And your mental health and physical health is very important for your health and important things for your body.
And I think she was talking to those ppl who are sad , always sad or those 14 “depressed” kids.

(Okay listen here “depressed” kids and “creepy” kids.
You’re not cool.)
Anyways-
Rule 1.
Stop listening to “depressing” music
Y’all are not cool if your listening to this type of music
theyre either still on their "edgy teenager phase" or actually base their whole personality around listening to x or billie

1. why does it matter to you what people listen to? people can like 'depressed' music regardless of their mental health. what people listen to does not define whether or not they're 'sad or happy.'

2. confidence is not something you can get with a snap of your fingers. though you're advice to be confident may help, it likely won't as it will make the person with low self esteem feel worse.

i know at least one person who has been diagnosed with depression, and i know they won't feel better because they stopped listening to sad songs.
although this thread may not have been created for helping actually depressed people, i still think you should have at least researched what depression is like. I, myself, don't know what it's like personally, but i know what people can do because of it/their symptoms.

i am sure you're thread was made with good intentions, and that you wish to help people, but i would educate yourself about the subject before posting about something you dont know much about.

and i understand how those '14 year old depressed kids' can get on your nerves, but can we please stop belittling them and making them feel as though their sadness isn't real? it's incredibly damaging for someone to hear that they're just putting on an act and faking their feelings, when they aren't.
i also understand you might believe they are exaggerating or being dramatic. maybe they are. what does it matter to you? if you'd really like them to stop being dramatic you could actually ask how they're doing.

in the end, learn to stop putting labels on people who are sad, and start listening and caring for others. nothing good comes out of making people feel worse than they already do.

Anyways-
Rule 1.

Rule 2.
Be confident
  1. Visualize yourself as you want to be.
  2. Affirm yourself.
  3. Do one thing that scares you every day.
  4. Question your inner critic.
  5. Take the 100 days of rejection challenge.
  6. Set yourself up to win.
  7. Help someone else.
  8. Care for yourself
Etc.

Rule 3.
Think of something happy or just makes you feel free.

For example:

Flowers.
Happiest.
Wear something that really makes you happy (if you like wearing something black or white try different colors (for example : yellow , pink, blue , green , orange , sunset purple etc.)

etc.

I hope this helped :)

Hmmm what’s this supposed to be? People can’t just stop being sad- and the music doesn’t really matter I mean some people like it .-.
That’s bc you can’t be happy and your that “depressed” kid who thinks they’re so cool standing around acting ‘afk’
That’s kinda mean... being afk doesn’t mean someone thinks highly of themselves?? And how are you to say if they are there or not you’d never know
