───── ❝ Prologue ❞ ─────
Hidden away in the valleys of _____, there was a kingdom (emphasis on WAS). This kingdom had everything: Light green grass, perfect weather, healthy animals, fresh and clean water, literally everything. Very few foreigners ever came to this holy place, and everyone who lived there was content with life. Of course, you can’t forget the heir to the throne. Why, he was the kindest person ever! He helped everyone in need, and when the king died and the heir to the throne became the next king.
4 months later...
───── ❝ Day 1 ❞ ─────
The marketplace was as busy as always, and people hustled and bustles about. Mia’s stall had a lot of business that particular day, and she was enjoying it until she saw a beggar try to steal an apple. She yelled at them, and the beggar quickly ran off, apple in hand. Mia chased after the beggar and the crowd of people in the marketplace pushed each other around in a confused reaction to the chase going on. Mia chased the beggar for quite some time until she was out of the Kingdom where there were gassy fields and beautiful white flowers. Mia leaped forward and grabbed the beggar by the ankle, pulling them down. She then flipped the beggar around, and just before she slapped them, something stroked across Mia’s back. She turned around and saw a person with a knife in the air. A huge pain then hit Mia, and it didn’t take long for her to realize that the person with the knife slashed her back. Before Mia could try and get up and run off, the person with the knife made another slash across her chest and watched her bleed out. The (now) murderer then looked at the beggar and helped them get up.
3 months later…
So much time had passed and Mia was still missing. A reward of $1,000 was waiting for whoever found her. Lenard desperately looked around for her, but so far, no luck. While running through one of the streets, a hand grabbed Lenard’s wrist and pulled him into a back alleyway. The person who had grabbed Lenardpointed a gun right at his head.
“Wait… I remember you… you’re that beggar who stole from Mia’s stall… Where is she?! What did you do with her?!?!”
Lenard heard a sound behind him, and when he turned to look, there was another person there.
“Did you 2 kill him?! I will tell the king, and he will puni-”
The (now murderer) beggar and the other murderer grappling hooked out of the alleyway onto the roofs, and Lenard was laying on the ground, blood seeping out of the side of his head onto the ground.
