I'm not sure but I think its the server that are in maintenance mode, which means you can't get in to any minigames (not sure) but I dunno if I'm right if its because the maintenance mode (according to @HazardTheDutchAD )

I have the same problem, but then in the main menu it says there are players online. Does this mean my mcpe is broken?

i think the server is updating to 1.1.0

People have been getting these errors (bug) lately with the new update.. hopefully vertx can fix this. Sorry for any inconvenience.
