Unbelievable laggy on Murder mysteries

Father time does not have his favour upon the MM server at times, resulting with category 5 lag for all; MM gets really slow with time, especially when a game is about to start. Please hear my entreaty.

It is Mojang's fault for making cruddy updates causing a lot of lag for any server
