Hi! This is open for anyone to answer: is targeting in MW bannable?

By targeting I mean someone joins every match that you’re in and goes straight to your mob even when there are other teams present, if that makes sense.

Here’s a recap of my lovely experience today:
I was spectating my friends, and I saw a player (let’s call them Ryan, sorry to any Ryans out there) attack and kill their mob. I played with them in the next run, and Ryan also joined. In this game, Ryan came straight for our mob and killed it. Ryan even camped right in front of our island (we were in the UNO Stacko map) to kind of taunt us in a “haha! I have you guys here now and you’re not going anywhere” kind of way. 3 teams were still alive (including Ryan’s), and 2 mobs were still alive (also including Ryan’s).

I honestly don’t know whether this Ryan (idk id I wanna give out Ryan’s actual IGN) has targeted other players, or if they have been following my friends since before I logged on to play today. I know you can simply leave the match, but there *are* people who will follow you to a new game.

I also know targeting is bannable in other games, but does it also apply to MW? This is pretty much the main reason why I have this question in the first place.

if someone is specifically going for someone (for example theres 3 players in mid and one guy is after you but totally ignores the other person). then yeah pretty sure its bannable.

Tell them that you will rock them next game and DO IT xd I'm pretty sure targeting is not bannable in MW but it is bannable in OITC

that’s true!! I know targeting in OITC is bannable, but I guess targeting in OITC and targeting in MW are two different things :/

i mean there was this one time a ryan dude came to my base and killed my mob. so i snuck to another base and hid, then the ryan came. but he didn't attack the mob, he attacked me. the players were attacking him but he was ignoring them and only going after me soo idk

I'm a old thg legend so idk many players better than me at PE pvp when I was at my prime and if they target you just rush the side gens and get stacked (first of all rush mid since if you don't you pretty much lose no matter what you do)

(this might sound stupid) Maybe there can be some sort of barrier around your island when the game starts that only the team-members on there specific island can go through- but not the other island barriers. This means that all teams can stack to the mid but not stack to the other islands. And when the game lasts for 5 minutes, the barrier would disappear and attacking others would be possible.

(this might sound stupid) Maybe there can be some sort of barrier around your island when the game starts that only the team-members on there specific island can go through- but not the other island barriers. This means that all teams can stack to the mid but not stack to the other islands. And when the game lasts for 5 minutes, the barrier would disappear and attacking others would be possible.

Targeting is a viable strategy even after the start of the game. So, if there's a pc player on one team (solo) he can get all 4/5 gens at middle AND rush the side gens so he/she would pretty much win unless he/she walks off xd. If this barrier applied to side gens it would be noice but then again on Medieval, Atlantis, Toys Puzzle and Birthday Party you would still get atleast 27 diamonds and 60 iron at middle. Mobwars is a very simple game because of the limited strategies so if a player knows these strategies they basically can't lose unless they encounter a hacker/duper or walk off xD

Targetting is fs bannable, but its hard to tell when someone's targetting or not, so idek ;-;
