The fire won’t show in top snow, and you can’t put out fire by breaking the block underneath. Yeah, it’s pretty much a ghost xD you can hear it, and sometimes you could locate it if it emits light around it. A way you could put out the fire is to just place a block over wherever the invisible fire is and then the fire will show up. Then, you could put it out and no more fire.

i don’t know if it’s considered glitch exploiting but i take advantage of this by setting it on the stone stairs around generators in the middle to catch people on fire. maybe i’ll get in trouble for this but O_O
