Happy birthday for our prophet muhammad peace be upon him! I know there are some muslims here in the brokenlens community, to celebrate this, I’m going to write a paragraph in english about our prophet muhammad, so everyone here, muslims or non-muslims can know more about him:
Muhammad
was born in Makkah in the year 570. Since his father died before his birth and his mother died shortly thereafter, he was raised by his grand father then his uncle who were from the respected tribe of Quraysh
He was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained so till his death
His people, before his mission as a prophet, were ignorant of science and most of them were illiterate. As he grew up, he became known to be truthful, honest, trustworthy, generous, and sincere
He was so trustworthy that they called him the Trustworthy
Muhammad
was very religious, and he had long detested the decadence and idolatry of his society
He then got the prophecy to spread the message of islam around the world, it began first as a secret, then later it became worldwide, muhammad peace be upon him faced a lot of troubles and problems by Quraysh, as some of them refused to believe muhammad, and called him a liar, muhammad was very patient about this, and asked god to give him the force to keep spreading this message, eventually, after Quraysh felt defeated after 3 battles with the muslim army, islam becomes widespread around the world.
