In the screenshots where there should be slabs there are activator rails this is because of the block id difference between PC and mcpe. This makes me believe that this map is a pc map that was ported to pocket edition

Yes you have to pay for a host as imagicalmine is just a server software. You'd have to use a server host like MinersPlanet Netherbox or Potpotsie.

Officialy if you speak American English it can be pronounced both ways and be considered correct. The reason for this being Americans come from all over and have a variety of different accents. If you live in Europe its only considered correct if you pronounce it le-ver. Here is some more...

If the beta keeps crashing turn off the xbox live features it should fix your problem
