Mechanical pencils are great for lines... not so much filling in large sections of paper. I love the zebra ones though, I use em to sketch everything

I used Staedtler mars lumograph for this one. They're really good graphite pencils, and there's also a charcoal but I haven't tried them yet. For colored drawings I use prismacolor premier

Oh flute! I’ve always liked the sound of those blowy instruments, but we rarely play with the reeds/winds sadly. But I bet there’s a complete symphony orchestra you could join, either in school or a local youth one

Yeah! I raise monarchs and sphynx moths. The sphynx caterpillar is called a hornworm, and they get freaking ENORMOUS! They're not so hard, all you really need is a big plant to keep them on, and just check on them once in a while. Monarchs just pupate wherever but the hornworms need to go...
