I just don't see the reasoning of colleges/universities existing besides having another 4-8 years of a subject you want to pursue.

It's absurd and insane that we have to pay these damn colleges yearly for their farcical rules and because the majority of them are "non profit." We're paying college an average of $30k-60K for education, education! What? I get it, the Ivy schools have better materials for higher education but...
