I know that it would be glitchexploiting if you would hit them through a block but that wasn't the case in my example of a ‘hitboxtrap’. As long as you still hit someone normally and don't use any glitches such as hitting someone through a block you can build any trap or ‘hitboxtrap’ you want.

Do you mean you killed somone and got 99+ golden apples? If so the player would have been a hacker and when you got his items the watcher detected it as item hacks and banned you. But if it doesn't say you are banned you are simply not banned. Anyways I’ll tag some more staff so they can help...
