There is an Flap between you’re lungs to Automatically breath, you’re body immediately goes into a panic state in this case forcing you’re Heart flap, And lungs To start pushing air. if you are suffocating your lungs are unable to do this, as It is too much pressure, or panic. Suffocating leads...

Fun fact: I’ve tried this, no matter how long you hold you’re breath you will not die you will either pass out for 20-30 minutes or a couple seconds :) Unless you’re underwater.. which is another story..
