So fifty is too many... try 30 or 35 each direction, then move to the corners of the square and do it again to expand? I used to do it at 200 but last weekend I used it for the first time after the 1.2 update, and I've forgotten how small I had to make it :/

Huh :/ I started using it right about the time I joined forums I think (April/May) and I've never used tile data. Again though, I've only ever replaced blocks with air, so maybe it only works with air :/

Does it actually need the tile data though? I've only ever replaced the ground with air but I just skip the old block and tile data, just type my coordinates and the word 'air'

Since I assume you're in a flat world, bedrock is all at the first row of blocks. Type this: /fill ~-50 1 ~-50 ~50 1 ~50 air With air you don't need to worry about the old block-tile data and all that stuff. IDK of that applies for changing it to water though. The 50 parts can be changed to...

Because yours didn't feel like forever. You had that thread about skins and stuff and while that's not part of your actual story it kinda almost felt like it, while Magic's just felt forgotten
