not really, tryhards are people who sweat the game a lot, and/or get toxic or /hub when you kill them (for me at least) ham don't kill me but you're a little bit sweaty xDDDD

i see more of the other way around xd they friend you because of wins/ldb and often times just ignore you unless they're playing with you

for me there's a difference between tryhards and non-tryhards going for ldbs-

ldbs create competition and bring new players to grind the games xD and yeah toxicity but that's inevitable

you can get TNT and flint and steel from chests nowadays, creeper kit is useless but yeah, no crossbows tho
