It's not something staff members can fix. It's all based on your connection and your ping. Sometimes Minecraft does act up though. If it says "Locating server" then it doesn't work, but if it says something about krazykartz then it has a chance. For now, keep on opening and closing Minecraft or...

I've experienced this before, and although I am unsure if it is because of the server bugs, I highly doubt it. What I would recommend is to make sure your port is 2000 and not 19132. If that doesn't work, then keep on closing and opening Minecraft.
