also in a game like murder mystery- it can expose where players are because of the word “Disconnected” over the player’s head as well as their username

i agree with this^^^ don’t get me wrong the reconnecting feature is great in certain games (example could be mobwars), however in games where the motive is to not fall into a void (run and bp) it can be pretty annoying because you continue to fall.
