That's a common but it's been mentioned many times that not much people mention it anymore I'm sure it's noted to be fixed though.

Well try using the Hiding GUI tactic go to the hot bar slot you want to be in like in the second where the sword it is way easier to Pvp just try it it may seem weird but you'lol get the hang of it.

Just be patient if lag occurs, Minecraft PE is still small and somewhat near as good as PC but I'm sure it will be fixed soon since many players are complaining about it. Try hiding your GUI scale it's 5x times better but still there is some cons about it.
