Yeah, well if the stairs to the female rooms turn to a slide when a male steps on them how did he wake up the female members?

...I never thought about that...
Maybe he put some sort of alarm spell on one of their textbooks or something the previous day XD Turned a book into a magical alarm clock

Or warned them the day before, but A, it doesn't seem like Wood would (ha, wood would XD) do that, and B, it wouldn't guarantee they'd be awake in time

It's not really the same as what Mr Weasley would do though, he's familiar with what books are. More likely he's take an ACTUAL alarm clock and enchant it to walk next to the owner's ear or something XD

Or scream to wake people up.
