But starting a conversation, hello is probably always first XD sooo when you're talking more formally, u should say 你好 (ni hao) and when you're talking informally, u just say hi, hello, etc XD (hush, it's pronounced the same way ;3; XD) (u probably know that already but be more specificccc XD)

I mean what parts of a conversation, u know how there's always the "hi!" And then the "how are you doing?" And then the "random questions and stuff to keep the convo going" parts to a conversation? XD Basically, which part do u want to know first? XD
