If you aren't joking... if you honestly believe I have sharp pieces of metal in my leg... no... c'mon, pins and needles, that prickly feeling when you sit still in a certain position for too long? And it hurts to move? And you just kind of feel like your muscles seize up and won't relax if you try to move too much when it happens?
.-.
I've also heard it being referred to as your leg (or arm) falling asleep, but ninety-nine percent of the time it's pins and needles. I've always know it as that, and so has everybody I know.
Well, to me it feels like you're being poked with, well, pins and needles. And that's where the name comes from. I swear, whenever I get it I can just SEE the pins stuck into my leg, moving up and down in waves and repeatedly being pushed into my flesh
Yeah, I get that, and it's not anything against you, it's just confusing me. I would have thought it was just a thing where I live, but I googled it and that definition's the first thing that came up, and I didn't even see 'chiefly British/American.'
Eh, anyway, it's not a big deal. Just a bit weird to me
