Also, unpopular opinion: even after the part where you see that he liked Lily and sort of cared for Harry just hated James, etc, I still hate Snape. He still made Harry feel like poop for seven years, and he hates Neville for what? For not dying instead of Harry.

And yeah... speaking of the second generation, though, have you read Cursed Child? I think it's good, but pretty much a standard time travel plot - go back in time to fix something, come back and it's messed up, go back to fix/re-mess it up - and Delphi was just brought out of nowhere. I know, she wasn't supposed to be known about in-universe, but she was never even hinted at.

Also, it's not how Time-Turners work, which was something that bothered me in Cursed Child. You can't go back and change stuff, whatever you do has already been done - by you, going back to do it, ensuring things would turn out in such a way that you'd go back and do that

Oh, have you read the Alexandra Quick series? It's an AMAZING HP fanfic series on fanfiction.net. It takes place in America and doesn't follow what we see in Fantastic Beasts, but it was started in 2007 and the American wizarding world created in AQ is much better than Fantastic Beasts anyway.

So far, the first four books of seven are out, and the authors working on book 5 but it's been a few years. Still, he IS working on it I think
