first off ♥♥♥♥ the "kylo ren" s♥♥♥ of ben solo tryna act emo like his grandfather, we need an actual villain who is the last of remains of palpatine's empire, id say a "secret" apprentice palpatine had as a replacement for vader all these years if vader ever rebels on him or so, trying to bring back the empire and stuff

also the palpatine "secret apprentice" thing isnt actually that far fetched. there's a whole side plot in the canon doctor aphra comics where palpatine pits a bunch of new replacements of vader against him, my favourite being general grievous ofc vader wins but goes to show palpatine did have backups.
