Just please stop making appeals trying to have them bringing the server back up. Because they will not respond, they will keep locking your appeals.

Hey I loved the BrokenLens server too. It was hard on everyone that it had to close down! But the owner had to do what he needs to do because he couldn't afford to keep the server running.

Well why can't brokenlens be on a lower budget

Each game is a server, and every server costs money. They already tried shutting down half the games, but they still didn't had the budget.
Basically after Mojang added featured servers, it kinda ruined all the non-featured servers. And that means less people playing. And when there's less players, then there's less people buying ranks and the money does go towards the server!

So now BL was costing more money then it would earn from ranks and stuff. So that turns into negative income.
