help your children book thing just unlocked some forgotten cringe memory I had ): in freshman year we had to pick a children book and read it to the class as if they were children-

-and we were supposed to be in pairs of two but the class was uneven so guess who got to be alone!!! one person had to hold and read the book while the other made a little presentation with the characters made of felt or something, and I had to do both at the same time and I kept dropping the book help

I have this one project I’m doing for this one class where we build some model of a house with a group along with a slide show, I did like 90% of the slide show so there’s no way I’m building the dumbo model, but now I have to hope the people actually do something over the weekend because it’s due Monday! I am not panicking nope nopee

I made notecards last year of all the math formulas I’d need and it ended up taking like 4 notecards front and back which I used on all the tests so idk how I’ll memorize all that for the final

NOOO NOW YOU UNLOCKED MY FORGOTTEN MEMORIES I had to do that too except we had to write the book and illustrate it ourselves with a partner but since I have no friends I did it alone and I was up the whole night before doing it and the story was so cringy and my drawings were so ugly

I think it was about a potato that becomes santa but then there was a plot twist ending where he’s actually an alien and his home world is wracked with war so he takes what he learned as santa to spread the magic of christmas to stop the war??? WHY DID I THINK THAT WAS A GOOD STORY also don’t even get me started on my terrible PTA Reflection Art Contest entries

I DID THAT TOO we each did a slide but I had to go in and fix everyone else’s bc apparently no one read the requirements, and then since it was like the day before and no one had done the model yet I did it but I forgot to write the ideal location on the model so we got marked off and my group got mad at me

It used to be in January at my school but they changed it to december so kids wouldn’t be studying for finals during winter break

It’s so dumbo bc all the teacher cram unit tests/projects into the week before finals meaning you basically have no time to do anything but study and scramble to finish hw… not to mention trying to turn in all the late work… which reminds me!!
