Although I got tons of time to reply to those comments I just feel like sleeping.
I am on a bus to perform at a football game and it’s an hour and a half drive :sob: and we get back to the school at like midnight then I have a flight at 4 am to Colorado soo...
7/8/9bc. So when it was the date for me to pick my instrument, I was out of town bc vacation so I had to come in at a later date 2 weeks before school started to pick my instrument so I came in and all the instruments were already cased up and still to get ready for the upcoming school year
7/8/9bd. But the band director took out the flute, trombone, & tuba first bc she wanted to see if I’d like any of those first since those three were the ones where they could use more people.
7/8/9be. I started with trombone. As soon as I started playing it I immediately was like “mmmmm ya nope no way am I playing this too boring and hard to get a sound out” (I did not actually say that out loud).
7/8/9bf. Next I tried tuba, I was actually very good at it & played not one but TWO notes on it!! Out of the 3, I was best at playing the tuba, but there was no way I wanted to carry that giant chunk of brass everywhere I went. Plus it looked heavy and sounds soOooOa boringggg and plus tubas never get the melody in pieces and like marching band for tubas is a nightmareeee.
7/8/9bg. They don’t match with actual tubas, they use contras which are like marching tubas which are EVEN BIGGER than normal tubas so like I’m so glad I did nOt choose tuba like soooooo glad
7/8/9bh. Ok anyways back to the actual story. Next I chose Flute :sparkles: I was not as good as Flute as I was tuba but I for sure was better than trombone. I also liked the way Flute looked and bc it was small and a well known instrument too like I’m sure to a non-musician when they hear the word “instrument” they instantly think like flute or trumpet.
