I've been doing great I'm involved in this summer program for the month so I've been doing that

Again, I'm sorry for being late, genuinely forgot about this until I scrolled a little down under my profile :>

Summer program? Ooo, sounds fun, maybe. How's that going so far?

And it's alright, I also forget when people comment on my previous comments too

I wouldn't say its fun, it's part of this larger academic program I'm in and we are working on the college admissions process, so like we are reviewing colleges, crafting college list, writing draft after draft of common application essays, personal statement, etc. on top of this intro to college writing included. So yea, not fun, but more useful xD

Yeah I don't check my profile as often tbh cuz like I know it's a bit dead. I think that's starting to change recently tho

Ohhh, I see now

Personally, It shouldn't be necessary doing all that for one simple college. Sure, there's a bunch of colleges out there and applying to one is the most critical part of the process since that's the college you're going to get your degree in but writing draft after drafts for one college, I mean, damn lol

_IshEric
You're not even in college yet and you already have to do all this grind just to get into a college, sounds like a nightmare lmao

It's for multiple colleges, we are perfecting drafts for different essays and stuff to use for mostly all colleges on the common application, for the colleges that's not on the common application, it's gonna be different and most likely will have unique essays

It's a lot of work, yes, but in the end it's worth it tbh, you'll worry about this junior and beginning of senior year, it's just something we all have to go through lol

Ah, I get it. My teachers would probably began talking about our college choices around the middle of the year since I'm heading into my junior year.

Process still sounds like hell lol but it's worth it, if you get into the choice of your college that is

Yup, guidance counselors and the internet should help, looking into colleges is fun if you know what you are doing

Yessir

The internet would be your friend throughout college. Say, have you decided on a college yet?

Not bad, not bad. I have a few in mind near me but still haven't made a final decision.

You still have a few more months, right? Unless you already graduated

Ohh, that's cool!

I'm still in summer vacation, having a job as a side hustle since I have nothing better to do at home. High school has been average. I did my 10 grade year all through zoom, and half of it also in the 9 grade. Best thing is, I comprended nothing all those 8 months lol.

For my up-incoming classes for junior year, I plan on taking AP: literature, cemetery, and American history or whatever classes relate to those subjects. Furthermore, taking my 3 year of french, tres bien, if I do say so myself. And my second year of piano!
Can't believe we have all these classes every day every week, all in an 8 hour span.

But enough of me, how about you? What AP classes are you planning taking? Any clubes you're in?

I'm in this book club and journalism club, I edit and wrote some articles for the school newspaper for my clubs and I planned on joining the math club but they turned it into SAT prep, which I still joined but it was not what I was looking for, it was kind of wack
