It's possible that the internet safety extension you are using might interfere with pages loading and stuff. In other words, That might be sus.
Were you having issues with page loading before that was installed?

Have you tried restarting your computer or your router?
I find that my router is pretty awful (6 year old isp provided equipment.) so I need to literally unplug it several times per week and it can take upwards of 10 minutes to reboot.
